So if you were a lone player sneaking up on 30 people in stealth you would be able to see them and react miles ahead before they would see you. I personally think it's a great idea.

@Ch4mpTW PvP balance and performance have problems, but the community is super strong. It's what keeps this game alive. ZOS has also been improving the problems steadily over the last few patches. .
Anyways yea I'm not too much of a fan of the stealth mechanics. Maybe make full stealth a medium armor passive and buff invis pots? Increasing detection radius when in the open would be nice. I don't think this should be ZOS' priority though.

Agreed. Also, here's a fun fact. The other morph for Inner Light actually helped quite a bit in dealing with stealth players back in the day. But then the GankBlades whined about how unfair of an edge it gave non-stealth players, and it was changed to the crap we have now.

I like being about to be in stealth in the middle of a field among my army buddies. We don't do much at all though. Normally we ride on our horseys though the fields to steal your forts.
I understand the annoyance though. You see one enemy standing by himself in the middle of a field, apparently digging through his inventory or playing the flute, and you think, WOOT, easy AP. When you approach to kill the poor sap, WHAMO, his buddies pop out of stealth and slaughter you!

I'm so tired of this game's main PVP zone overly-rewarding players who sneak all the time. Dealing with a small team of cloaking nightblades is tough enough, but this whole "army hiding in an open field" tactic is so infuriating. Having to constantly follow a large group of people to ensure my safety from teams of invisible players or having to constantly sneak myself, isn't fun.
Can we make stealth actually make sense, please? I should be able to see someone, who is in an open field, in broad daylight, at 30 meters - at least. Then I could actually re-route myself from danger instead of running into an invisible wall of death. Please, adjust stealth in Cyrodiil.
OP must be EP or DC.

Those were the days! Sure people would use radiant mage light back in the day when it was a toggle. All though you could see who was using it and you just would not go for them. It was the gankers like me who used it and ganked other gankers that was fun. O i miss those days...

You can use the Sentry set to do the same now.
