I usually do pledges with PUGs and I have no problem with it, usually we run it with no problem
but the truth is, that I usually only go for silver pledges, not gold

The most annoying PUG you can get is the one who does not listen. Fortunately, they are quite rare.
I remember this guy who kept asking me to run repentance in my healer rotation. The guy got so angry about it and kept asking for it.
I told him it was impossible, but he kept asking for it.
He just would not understand that sorcerers don't have repentance.
I've had this exact thing happen on my mageblade healer.
DD: Healer, I need stamina!
Me: Drink a ******* potion already!

People need to L2P, which I do, but I'm damned if I'm gonna spend my time looking at youtube guides and whatnot when all I want to do is play the game I love.
I also believe not using a mic is no reason to kick; there are many reasons why people don't. Not everyone can go to their bedroom and shut the door. Many people have other things going on in the home which makes talking to the TV a pain in the arse for the other family members.

I have never run all of ICP (vet or normal) as I only use PUG's. I got normal ICP once from randoms with my tank and the three in the group were on the final boss and had either lost or kicked their tank. I ran through the whole dungeon, avoiding the mobs they had left behind and with some directions from the others we completed it after a couple of wipes. Felt good.
Goes to show that PUG's can achieve things when they work together.

I was the only member to have completed the dungeon before. I didn't know this at first and I believe the others were afraid to admit it (thinking they would be kicked - my assumption). We cleared the first boss but when it came time to throw those stupid boogers, I could tell that the other members were struggling with the mechanics.
I started to explain the stages of the mechanics and what to look for to everyone. Only 2 of the other 3 were in the group. The other DPS claimed to not have a mic and didn't want to use the Group Chat to listen.
We struggled a bit but the 3 of us talking, coordinated well with throwing the grenades and taking out boss 2. I remember a time when this was the end of most PUG runs...
We went on, killed every mob because the DPS not in chat jumped the gun on everything. Cleared the mini bosses in between with only a few revives needed.
When we finally were at the last boss. We struggled very hard with the Portals because the member not listening was avoiding them and we would have to revive everytime. We made our pleas to join the chat. He.She refused, so we voted to kick.
We picked up another DPS. It was also his first time every trying the dungeon but he ran all the way to the last boss. We explained the mechanics. We had to wipe 3 times but then we nailed it. They all 3 were able to get a skill point for the quest, 2 Gold keys, and I even got a Lovely Training Helm haha.
It was not what I wanted to go through today to get the 2 keys but it felt good at the end when the 3 thanked me for being Patient and Helpful.
Now I am not looking for a pat on the back(or awesomes and Agrees) but I just wanted to share this story for the readers who are "Afraid to do dungeons" because they believe everyone is not willing to help newer players learn the mechanics.
Thanks for reading everyone and hope your next PUG goes smooth!
Build to solo the bosses, never have a bad pledge pug again. Gg

In vICP, you have to be ready to solo Lord Warden Dusk if the rest of your group wipes, because you're never getting them up again between portals, Dusk, and the stuff falling from the sky.
I've had to finish the guy off a good 3 times. But I'm a Templar, so it was kind of cheesy.
