Okay I'm hijacking your penetration question, how relevant is it? And if you have 33000 penetration how much armour does it penetrate, the whole 33000? If so then you can answer both questions in one haha. Ive been putting my CP in it.

If you assume PvP, and your opponent has a sharpened weapon with 5 light, you'll need more to reach cap.

Yes, penetration is directly subtracted from your targets armour. However putting a lot of cp in penetration is usually not the best choice and often overkill if you run with organized groups that use armour debuffs on their enemies.

But what about outside of pvp. Are computer enemies effected by penetration or am I actually wasting it? I'm still catching up on CP so I know I haven't maxed anything yet at least haha

As far as I know yes NPCs still have resistance and can be effected by penetration and armor debuffs.

Easy version.... Mark target or piercing armor will make them take more damage.

That's nice then, I've just been trying to understand the more complicated mechanics. It seems like I just need to remember the names and proper use of traits etc

I think my character has mostly correct traits equipped just now but it's mostly coincidental(I at least feel like I do the majority damage against dungeon bosses as DK) I've been looking at stamina while levelling
