That's not a broken mechanic issue, that's a lack of use issue.

He would probably enter the queue as a tank or healer and be on his way in minutes.

I wish he would share his secret then. I queued for at least 10 hours over a couple of days in the last week as a healer during peak time - 7pm to 9pm UK time and didn't find a group once. Queued for 6 hours this weekend, not a single group. Outside of 2-4pm I have not found a group with the GF in the past several months

I guess I cannot say from persinal experience.

The group finder does not fit my play style, which often requires me to be AFK, sometimes long enough to get logged out. If I did use it, I would be Damage, so I expect that I would have to wait. When I group, I do Damage or Tank, and can do Healer, but would neber use Tank or Healer in the LFG tool.

No one I know personally has used it to find a group.

I suspect that a lot of people don't use it, and when they do, they are predominately Damage.

I've been around from the start and I really enjoy the ESO live broadcast as I am limited to game time when I work in the Aussie desert mining. Can we have a bit of a push towards bring back fortnightly broadcasts. It really helps me keep connected to the game.

Also maybe a special chest could drop during the live broadcast, having some sort of goodie in it (temper, recipe, worms!)
Or play hide and seek with players on the live server, dishing out clues and such...

Based on the Style Parlour pricing, having a Monthly Makeover Contest would be a hit. Not a dig at the pricing, either. It really would be a hit. Enter somehow then watch to win.

Oh, and with all the dyeing and parlouring and so on, have an ESO Fashion Show segment.

I suggest to provide ESO Live agenda before the show.

It will help many players to decide if want to attend.

They usually do this the day before the show.

What is crap, because not all of us play every day - it has to be announced a week in advance for the casual players.

And just to add this - I think ZOS wants to do some of the things in secrecy and then announce them as a surprise - but not all of us are liking surprises - me for example, I hate them - I want things to be planned and laid out for some time in advance, so that I have an idea of what is coming. I would have bought a few more costumes, which are now no longer in the store, if I would have known that costume dyes are coming. So even I like the costume dyes, there is this bitter taste with it, that I am missing out, just because it was not announced earlier.

Next thing - I would like to have a detailed explanation of how battle-level scaling will be done with One Tamriel - preferably in a language, which can be understood by everyone - i.e. mathematics - a formula - not just "like it is done in TG and DB". And some other things which have to be addressed with these changes - for example, what happens to soul gems, which are not grand soul gems - and stuff like this. Or how a new player will find out, how dangerous an enemy is - if all are just labelled as CP160 - this is totally unclear to me how to. I just ran today into an enemy, which would have easily killed me, if not another player would have come along helping me - I was in Hew's Bane with a level 8 character, which normally does fine, but not against that enemy. But how could I have known - all look the same - CP160.

Oh gawd! I sooooooo want to be a smart *** on this thread... So bad.

But I'll just make a legit suggestion. Make a goal to never ever say "Soon" or "We don't know yet" or "We'd really like to do that, but..."

Ok I got that out of system.

I'd like a ESO Live where you guys actually go mobile and walk around the office and show us what's what behind the scenes.

Edit: And more /lurk, can't get enough of that kanucker (not sure if spelled right)

Do some research and view other Dev streams... A perfect example being Warframe Dev streams from Digital Extremes (probably one of the most loved and respected developers in the MMO industry to date).

Notice how bright, fresh and welcoming their studio is compared to your dank hovel? Also notice the professionalism, nearly always on time, they have a clear understanding of what they are talking about, there's no lies or tip toeing around things. There's a lot more enthusiasm too. When you guys present fan art concepts etc you sound like you're reading out a list of deceased people. Really.

You get the gist, I'm sure this thread was more asking about what ideas for different segments we'd like but honestly you need to go back to basics, the only good thing about ESO live is the spoofs released on YouTube. If you don't want to be a joke anymore, I'd seriously fix your image first.

first i whant custom shops in game then you can buy caravan for big money and can use it in any place to sell you gods like small shop only in zones there is no guards like in city other can rab you so you must defend and think there to open shop, same you can hire merchian who work for you then you geting resurces for shop i think it must be fun.
second was good have a job market in game there one people can add services for help dongeons or quests, other players can hire it if they see it online and price will good for hem. Its mmo will be more like in real life.

If we cannot get y'all to engage with your players about really important issues that affect gameplay and fairness here on the boards, then the least y'all can do is have an ESO Live where we can actually get answers from those who know. It's the total lack of communication and dialogue which gets the forums so darned toxic. That's true of any topic here on the forums, from mild to incendiary.

Honestly, I'd love to see a segment along the lines of a "moment of truth" or something similar. A segment where a dev, or even someone from corporate, was allowed to deviate from the "party line" and deliver a harsh but unfiltered truth about game development. Like, an honest admission of (and I'm only inventing examples, I can't say for sure that any of this is true) the vital necessity of making sure key features are given to the crown store in order to create sufficient revenue to maintain the game as a whole...

    or...

an admission that development of new classes is something the dev team has discussed and, barring some future change in the market, just isn't going to happen, for reasons such as bladda bladda blah...

something like that. You know - just an honest admission that the game is also a business, and certain decisions get made because they HAVE to be made, not because they're good ideas. I know there's a prevailing sense that customers shouldn't be told truths about the compromises made to products for the sake of business, but we all kind of assume that corporate is screwing us *somehow*, but because we don't know precisely how, we imagine it's screwing us over EVERYTHING. Maybe if we had an honest, if somewhat painful and/or disappointing moment of truth from devs or corporate, we could at least stop *wondering* how the company was screwing us, and we'd know concretely.

I'm sincere about this. This isn't a passive aggressive attempt to hurl some crap at ZOS...I'm serious. I know there are compromises being made to the game for the sake of business concerns; we all do. It's the *pretending* that there aren't that I find most insulting, most frustrating. I'd find some honest, straightforward admissions by development, to go a long way to soothing my conscience just a little bit.

    my 2 cents...

Some of the things I would like to see (in no specific order):

The reasoning behind the different 2,3,4,and 5 piece perk combinations; such as the changes to the storm knight or the oblivion foe set. Two different armor sets an episode seems reasonable.

The Guild Spotlight AS WELL AS THE COMMUNITY EVENTS would be great to bring back.

Remember the tales of the dead? Why not have a new skeleton each show and whomever correctly Identifies the location and submits the best story wins some crown or other stuff that is given away.

tell us about what happens during maintenance, what do you all have to do to deploy a patch how many people are involved and what's the difference between patch maintenance and just no patch maintenance, enquiring minds what to know :)

Might give us a better understanding as to why sometimes maintenance takes a long time and sometimes not so long :)
