4hr Maintenance

ZOS what is going on with all this time wasting lately.

Currently you've taken this game down for over 20hrs in the past 4 weeks probably more than that.

Is the lag affecting your staff or something? This log in maintenance used to take 2hrs tops but now look at it?

Seriously what is going on? Is part of a winding down process or something? Even the patch yesterday for PC took forever.

Can you please provide some clear information on why we have so much downtime, no other online service at present has this much downtime and we are yet to see any improvement to performance this year.......

They have not come back from the Waffle House this morning and turned the servers back on....

There are still a lot of bugs from db patch. Problems with getting kicked when you load into Elden root, I'm sure many others. I'd rather the issues be fixed no matter how long it takes.

They don't fix *** , they get *** at. They try to fix some *** , they get *** at (I'm not saying you in particular but twitter has some heated players) but I'm giving them the benefit of the the doubt and waiting to see what comes of it

But you do know since the last patch they haven't said a word about this since? Apparently the patch was going to fix things, uproar on the day and then nothing at all. this is just "log in maintenance" nothing special, no patches no fixes to the game.

At the very least, they could have done the maintenance in the middle of the night, at like 2am or something, instead of killing an entire day.

I wouldn't mind them taking it down for a week if they actually fixed the bigger problems (or anything for that matter). Last week when Xbox was down for a day I was really hopeful that they took the time to fix Orsinium but it still has the same post-DB problems of characters getting trapped in crash loops.

It's nothing to do with fixing anything in game. Just a server reboot.

They used to take 2 hours. Recently, it's upwards of 6. No explanation as of why either

Tbh, everytime the servers go up these threads fall off the page. It needs to be brought up outside of maintenance too. It would be nice to know why it's taking longer than usual these days.

LMAO nailed it!!! typical forums servers GO down ppl start complaining ( ME INCLUDED ) ... That said if they pulled there finger out and fixed theses issues they would get less complaints and more i want new costumes more dlc and HOUSING threads!!

it's AD that's all screwed up, DF works fine, once in a while you will do a respawn but not that often. AD is a total joke, only do my writs with it and those are even a problem. ED not as good as DF but much better than AD

fix AD and you fix the major source of the problems

Like someone has already said well over 20 hours downtime in the past 4 weeks that's almost a day of my subscription just wasted I would prefer them just to re-inburse me for this time.

This dude get's it! We get NOTHING for this downtime, no improvements no nothing, I cannot remember the last time I had a fault on logging in on this game, every console issue is after this point lol.

I'd bet a years salary they devoted 10 people to the job, 8 to crownstore job and 1 to each console job.

Perhaps if someone who works in there customer relations or communications department would post some updates on what's going on or why, we would be less inclined to come on the forums just to complain.

I think they have people working that job, maybe not....

EXACTLY free to play in other words we dont give a f.ck if you play or not as long as you buy some stuff of the crown store now and then and we will supply you with a broke game play it or not make a bit of cash off you JOB DONE!!...... NOW if there was a sub and this sh.t was happening the bean counters at ZOS and CO would be kicking arses and taking names!!

Perhaps in the US yes you can put pretty much anything in your conditions.

However in the EU it doesn't matter what you put or what people agree to if your conditions aren't legally binding.

Such as sale of goods act ( goods must be fit for purpose) and the unfair contracts act ( enforcing an agreement on someone that benefits one party unfairly) the list goes on over here, Firms cannot put whatever they want in a terms of service and claim invincibility over it.

Not that they care, but I actually wrote to IGN to ask them what's going on, they took some interest in it and said they would write to Zenimax press office for an answer so we'll see how that goes if anything, only thing worse than a bad sales quarter is bad press.

Also to note on their TOS, more on crown sales and products being non refundable....it's actually illegal in the UK to advertise you don't accept returns or offer refunds...

I am actually entitled to a refund of anything I buy in the crown store within 14 days regardless.

So please stop quoting Zos term of service, bent governments around the world may be in the pockets of businesses but over here it's not allowed.

Zos will now delete this thread but freedom of speech in fact means censorship at all times these days.

Why get upset the game is down? They're trying to fix things. I think having not enough down time is the reason this game has so much issues. Other mmos like dcuo have regular daily maintenance, sure it had it's issues but not like eso.

Let them work and the game will be up when it's up. Not the end of the world it's taking longer than usual.

It's not that it's down, it's the blatant fact that ZOS ignore any console related issue at all.

Same old issues.. same old discussion every week. Where's that younger Michael Jackson grinning and eating the popcorn clip? Lol! Went to the waffle house, ate some breakfast, went to the gym, done grocery shopping, window shopping at the beauty/nail salon.. now, I may just do some real work.
