So I love the graphics especially and just the scenes the game is set in. That makes me want to play it every night and the friendly people in this game.

What is it for you that you love about the game and makes you want to play it every night?

One of the most rewarding things you can do in game is turn the UI off and play in first person with the graphics maxed. You'll gain a MAJOR appreciation for the little details in the world that are easy to miss in third person. Granted, it can be challenging, especially with AOEs, but if you want an amazing sense of cinematic immersion it can completely change the way the game is played.

Part of me wishes there were better native options in the UI for more immersion because, seriously, in first person sans UI the game is incredibly gorgeous.

EDIT: I know add-ons exist which can help immersion to some degree, but I'm specifically referring to better options built-in.

By friendly people, I'm assuming you mean the NPCs 'cause, god forbid you make a mistake or get in somebody's way or not quite be up to snuff in a group and you'll find out just how unfriendly a lot of the players are.

BTW: Query for EU - do you actually have babies playing or do you just all have babies close by when you are playing. All that goo-goo, ga-ga is pretty weird when I'm in the middle of a battle. :)

And I thought I was the only one who did this.

When I'm by myself, PvE-ing, I often toggle the UI off completely. It gets rid of sooo much: zone chat, all the tells that make the game easier, and so on. I can toggle it back on (and do) for quests or whatever, but I toggle it off again when exploring or running an easy PvE dungeon.

Do this for awhile, and you'll quickly learn to spot the heavy attacks/AOEs starting. Then, when you see one, roll dodge away. My bigger problem is keeping the two skill bars straight. I can't tell you how many times I've pressed a key and .... then died because the attack I thought I was getting turned out to be a buff. :D

I actually enjoy the quest writing. No, not every quest is epic, but I've truly enjoyed some of the quests. The AD Reaper's March questline comes to mind. There are others (not wanting to spoiler anyone so I won't say more).

I had hoped for more with the last Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood releases, but I was a bit disappointed.

Playing in first person with a controller when the population is almost 0 (dawn) is the best experience I've had. The immersion that comes with solitary wandering is so rare...
But a close second is reading books. There are many a fascinating tale in each text, a true joy to collect each and every one. Also makes some experiences more horrifying than they otherwise would be.

I would like to say I love being able to create a character that is entirely yours, but it's hard to do that and keep up in this game. When you manage it, however, it's incredibly satisfying.

Well the lore and story of the TES world is what really hooked me into the franchise and ESO time traveling back in time to a time before unity is nice cause all the TEs games really don't have that huge of time skips TES 1 and TES 2 are like only 2 or 3 years apart and everything in between while TES 4 with it's massive lore changing events of a living Daedric prince walking Nirn only taking place 4 years after TES 3 with it's killing of the 2 and maybe 3 of the Dunmer living gods/goddess.

That's what got me and keeps me playing.....

To bad One Tamerial (horrible idea) is literally throwing half of ESO lore into the garbage really shows how much the dev team actually cares about their own game.

AvA PvP. Sometimes I get a bit bored with it & other times I just feel like I need a break from it.. but it's what keeps me logging in every day. I also really enjoy soloing world bosses & dolmens in the cadwell gold lands... it's pretty rare to see another player & I enjoy the 'lone adventurer' feel :)

The game is very beautiful ! The best looking game to date for me. I still (after more than 2 years of play) turn the UI off & take screenshots because it looks so awesome.

Never ending progression, game world, graphics (excluding grass fillers), lore books, crafting, upcoming One Tamriel, upcoming Vvardenfell and Donald Trump ;)

Edit: Oh yeah and the combat, I forgot about that, I really enjoy the action style of the combat.

Edit 2: And the exploration, finding nooks and cranny's and cool stuff like that. Trying to find amazing vistas etc. And mudcrabs/scamps.

@Smasherx74 I've asked this before and didn't get an answer so I'll ask you, aren't those programs considered 3rd Party tools and against ToS? I really want to try them but I'm concerned I'll get flagged for it...

I've seen multiple threads about SweetFX and even programs that disable the rendering distance, they weren't taken down. So I'm assuming no.

I remember at launch or beta there was an issue with extra distance rendering which wasn't intended, but that's fixed now.

    The Elder Scrolls

    It's a "TES" game.

Take away the title, and I'd leave without ever looking back. For all of ZOS's flaws, they've survived because an Elder Scrolls game cannot fail anymore. The lore and past games support it through their success because it is an awesome series!

I don't even want to think how quick ESO would've emptied out from massive mistakes on ZOS's end throughout the game's history if "The Elder Scrolls" wasn't involved.
