I think my most used dye is Coldharbour Black but I think my favourite is Julianos White because one it's great for those little highlights and two it was my reward for the first Trial I ever completed......
That first Trial completion was a massive thing for me back then
When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!
We have almost the same gear coloring! Even use some of the same pieces (i.e same shoulders) Awesome!
Coldharbor Black and Transluminal Violet, although I usually forego any red mixed in!
Looks good!
Same I used to have full Imperial gear with Atmoran Bronze and Coldharbor Ash Black. Looked divine! I've since been using Cyrodilic Steel and Ash Black but quite liking the new Viridian Venom. So shiny...
You can see the colors a little better in this image.
Which dyes are these?
There are three colors in use.
The main color is cold harbor Ash Black and it give the almost black look but it is actually a very dark purple. You get it from beating the main quest.
The secondary color is Transliminal Violet and it gives a golden violet chameleon color. You get it in the Imperial City Sewers for completing the Barathrum Centrata event.
Finally there is just a hint of Syffim Red and it gives the little bits of red on the character to give it the pop. This is the Fighter's Guild Master achievement reward.
Slaughterfish Flesh. It's pink or silver or brown depending on what it's on. I also use the Covenant Fisher blue which is a really nice lighter (think cornflower blue) shade and one of the vanquisher achievements has a nice purple. I also like the green Cyrodiil fishing color and Motif Master brown.
The one you get after unlocking all the crafting styles. I think it's called Motif Master Brown. Love that sheen. But I definitely want Legate Black ... I just don't want to have to do pvp to get it. I hate pvp.

Wow, this is a hard question. The Dyes all look different on different materials and racial styles. I will say that Ruby gear is the most difficult for me to dye as it does not seem to take the dyes very well, they come out more a Tint or Filter than Dye.
So, to answer your question, whatever looks good on the gear my character is wearing.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
