Yay! They fixed Abah's Watch style light armour shoulders!

The light armour shoulders got fixed up on PTS - it no longer is angled strangely and flaring up on the ends. It also used to float above the shoulders and looked hollow so that's fixed up nicely now.

Here's an example of the fixed light armour shoulders on the Abah's watch guards. It's an enormous improvement on the look of this set and I'll be crafting some asap on live.

Huh...didn't even know this was a bug. While 8 don't mind the initial look, the fixed look definitely looks better. Will be happy to see the change on my magblade

Glad they fixed this, it looked AWFUL before. Just wish they'd fix the rest of the 'floating' shoulder pads.

I have no idea why so many shoulders have started floating! More and more seem to defy gravity with each patch.

Ancient Elf shoulders are still floating and clipping through my character's hair, including the shawl shoulders on the Mages Guild costumes which use the Ancient Elf style. Is that fixed on PTS as well by any chance?

I also recently noticed the low-level Breton shawl shoulders are doing the same, I saw an NPC in Craglorn with floating shoulders. Not sure if it happens with the higher tier ones.

Unfortunately the Ancient Elf epaulets still float quite a bit above the chest armour.

Ugh, that's unfortunate; I hate how it gives my character a haircut.

After the same patch they started floating I noticed they reduced the clipping issues with the front flap on the robe, so it's like they've fixed one visual issue and replaced it with another. I hope it gets fixed soon!

It might be worth it to start a thread with all these floating shoulders and example screenshots so that the awareness of the problem comes to the foreground.

I love that they fixed up Abah's Watch shoulders though as they looked so horrid before - like 80s suit shoulder pads.

I feel like I've seen a few threads already about floating shoulders, but I might go through and take some screenshots of what I can find that's floating anyway. I know of 4 shoulders are floating at the moment but I'm sure there are more.
