Make Auras Star empty campaign a non-PvP

So, Scourge pop locked 100+ deep every nite the past couple weeks, I found Azura Star vastly empty and great for questing. Sadly, it's also the best running PvP server I have played. Well, there's a handful of gankers in the city that might not like the idea, but otherwise it's mostly unused except by people questing and farming.

Cyrodiil PvE elements are boring and pointless without the risk of PvP as they were designed with that added difficulty in mind. If you want the achievements, take that risk. If you've got a mostly empty campaign, it's even easier.

The non-CP thing seems to be a fail in terms of attracting players there. I'm suggesting a different approach. Maybe they can make the arena a PvP zone or something. There was an interest in having a PvE Cyrodil campaign for a long while. I know many players that won't go to Cyrodil because they despise PvP.

I dont see how that is a problem? People play parts of the game they like? Everything doesnt have to be for everyone.

Or maybe it's not the non-CP part? It also happens to be the 30-day Standard and as such takes far longer than the rest to hand out rewards. Furthermore people seem to prefer PvPing in BWB more than anything.

Completely agree with this. The 'turn one of the few PVP maps into a PVE only map' requests in all their guises need to stop. Cyrodiil quests are the most basic of fetch quests, it's the heightened risk of human encounter that makes them even the least bit entertaining.

I can see where the PVPers would like to keep their maps, but it would be nice to explore without risk. It's not that I despise PVP....It gives me actual anxiety attacks :/ Stupid, I know, but there it is. I know I'm not the only one.

So you are staying that nobody PvPs there, but that's still not enough?

Personally, I would never go gather in the non-CP campaign because Master Gatherer and the Plentiful Harvest passives don't work there, so it's a waste of time.

I'll take my risks in Haderus when I want to complete the town quests on my sorc and DK.

I like to pvp, but i like to do it when i want. Which is why i never join pvp realms in games that have them. Im always paranoid and jumpy when i can just be attacked whenever. :p

Yes. It's not enough. It would be so nice to quest and farm the city and sewers in peace. By all means, put the CP back in it. In my observation, CP free zone is a flop. Time to change it up a bit.

PvP in general is a flop right now for Lv50 Campaigns. As I said, it's all about BWB. That is the ONLY Campaign that is generally full at ALL times across the board. The rest are usually favored by 1 side, like Azura's Star with EP. Haderus used to be AD until EP started contesting them lol

The problem with IC in particular, is that if there is no PvP, then they would have to remove Tel Var stones from it, and then people wouldn't go there either.

Having been killed on the way to my last skyshard in IC last night, I'll contend that it's ok the way it is (also, apologies to the DC player we killed by the ladder who was dead before we realized they were just questing).

    You definitely aren't.

I really should get into the Non-CP campaign sometime myself. If it's really as empty as everyone claims then I can finally experience all the Quest givers without feeling like a nervous wreck/rage quitting idiot.

Azura is the second most populated campaign on EU PC. Better quality PvP, no lag.

It's really not that bad. One of the things I was told when I started to PvP was that I should get over the fact that I was going to die a lot.

    It really helps.

And for PvE in Cyrodiil/IC, your likelihood of dying is far less than if you run to where battles are actually happening.

Some basic precautions: Sneak in and out of delves, approach quest givers with caution and if you are camping a boss, always find a corner where you can sneak without aggroing mobs. If I see an enemy player, I usually /wave to indicate I'm not hostile. And when I'm doing PvE with my guild, we try to not attack other players unless they attack us first. We've actually recruited a couple of people of opposing factions that way. :-)
