I bought ESO PLUS for the month yesterday and was convinced that I would get satisfaction from the game enough to pay per month. The following day I was rudely awakened to a game changer and renders the purchase a waste. I live to pvp so it's Cyrodiil that I'm caring about here. I played as much as I could in 24 hours and played with a lot of different groups. There is a player that is getting the worst criticism I have seem since I played mmo's 12 years ago. This person is able to make the entire map of my faction quit trying to capture and keeps at all. This person is able to one shot you with a series of skills, including a Meteor instantaneously and with no visible cast animation (unless I just can;t see it). This sequence of theirs is able to fire 1,2,3...and wipe a small group in 4 or 5 seconds. As emperor we can throw a large group at this person and not win. We don't have a chance because it's obviously cheating. I do think that most of the time when people say it's cheating, it's not. In this case I don't see how it's possible that they are not cheating terribly. If you are considering taking this down or doing nothing much about this. you can lose much more for covering this persons behind by going light on them (they got kicked from game 3 days or so last week) and here they are doing it again. I'm telling you that it affects hundreds of players and ruins the 30 day outcome and ruins a lot of peoples time. I would wager there would be more people to quit the game for ZOS not doing enough about it rather than for punishing the cheaters properly. I do want a refund now but I won't spend time crying about that, if they do it they do it. I want people to know that one player can cheat so hard that it makes a faction give up. This completely ruins the game for some.
It was mentioned that we need to be outspoken about this issue to get something done right this time. Take it off site and give it to a blogger with some viewers or something to not let it happen.
Anyone else notice this player willing to speak up?
