I cannot use chat, mail, guild bank, guild store, or whisper functions.

The guild stores in all the zones no longer have an option to use them. Same with the city bankers. I can't access my own guilds either.

I had this same problem last month as well as the chat feature no longer working. I was unable to message other players and could not communicate with anyone in game.

These guys on the forum are having the same or similar issues.

I disabled all addons, used the repair feature in the launcher, and tried a different computer. Both computers had the same problem.

Did you get muted for some reason? Someone else came and said they got muted and wanted to know why and for being muted everything you just named off was disabled for him.

Muted as in by a GM and such.

No. I can talk to my guild mates this time. SO my chat works. It's just the guild stores that are gone this time. It's the same or simiiar bug though.

I still do not have guild access. Its been two days. I have created multiple tickets. This happened to me last month and they were able to fix it. It depends on who you get for customer service. Last time they had to escalate it. This time they have done nothing for two days. I am able to use chat and my mail works this time.

After reading this thread I think this is what is happening. I was grinding characters both times this happened to me.

Holy cow! That's what happened to me once and why have I not being notify getting communication banned at all? I thought I was encountering a bug. I don't remember grinding at all.. strange.

As I posted there, I grind a lot, use autoloot and consolidated looting, and loot 2 dozen bodies at once, so I don't think this is the problem. I think you guys just must be following such an exact and unchanging course that the system thinks you're bots.

I think the biggest problem here is that there is no indication at all, whether you received a 'social' ban or not.

To make it worse if you do not escalate and you have no idea that is not a bug, it will just stay this way... (in the german forum there were people who had this for weeks and had no idea what was going on.. )

Apparently another source to achieve this is to use mass mailing addons, too many mails in too short time also auto bans you.

I need this fixed like now.. I was grinding dolmans in alik’r and this happened to me. Best part, on my Fn birthday.. I work 45 hours a week and don’t get much time to play this game, and the one day I do, I get “MUTED”?!?!?!? On top of that the “HELP” link is broken on the ESO website. This whole situation has left a seriously bad taste in my mouth.
