This is the official feedback thread for trading Bind-on-Pickup items to group members. Specific feedback that the team is looking for includes the following:

• Did you successfully trade items with other players?
• Was the messaging clear on the tooltip?
• Do you have any suggestions to make this system better?

Did you successfully trade items with other players?
Yes, during the dungeon and after leaving the instance in 2.5.1.

Was the messaging clear on the tooltip?
Super clear. I really like it. Lists the individual players and gives a countdown timer showing how long you have to trade the item before it becomes Bound to you.

Do you have any suggestions to make this system better?
Honestly, the two hour timer is more generous than we were expecting (we thought it would be more like 10 minutes). The one problem is that it's hard to trade items with characters from other Alliances once you have left the instance, though you can always go into another instance to do that.

Some people would like the trading to also affect Undaunted Shoulder pieces picked up from the Undaunted Chests immediately after finishing the dungeon. Those are easier to come by than Undaunted Helms and the correct Bind on Pickup dropped sets though. It's great to be able to pass all my Heavy Armor drops to my Tank and all my Medium Armor to my Stamina DPS, and get all the Light Armor in return.

Indeed, the feature seemed to be working without issue to my knowledge.

Was the messaging clear on the tooltip?

That it was. I am pleased with how the tooltip listed the applicable group members to trade with and highlighted their names in bright colors to make it all the more clear. The timer was also very straight-forward.

Do you have any suggestions to make this system better?

None that come to mind, honestly. I, too, wouldn't mind seeing the Undaunted Shoulder pieces also count towards the trade with the same group. Perhaps, if key-hoarders taking advantage of the feature is the reason for this not being an available option already, could there be a measure added in to limit it to trading only the first Shoulder piece obtained from the chest?

My apologies for diluting the feedback with another question, but I thought it appropriate as it'll help to clarify what can and can not be traded through this system. In particular, I was wondering if you are able to trade items received from quest-given (I.e. wrothgar daily and weekly trial quest completion) loot boxes and if anyone has tested this on the PTS. Sets like Trinimac's Valor never seem to drop for me, while I've gotten several perfect Briarheart pieces over time, so it would be nice to trade them with people who need them.

Ohh man i got so many pieces of Trinimac's Valor i had to deco it so many times and yet i only found 3 pieces of Briarheart i would gladly traded it with you or buy it.

lets hope these items can be traded as well !

I'm on X1, so I don't get to participate in pts. Does anyone know if you can trade bound items you pick up in wrothgar, either from dailies or killing monsters? I'm curious about this. If anyone has done this please let know @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

Can warden chest be looted? Or other chest drops? Just thinking it may have been overlooked as it's not a drop technically

Does not matter for me as such trade will rarely happen in random groups..

ZOS, you are killing this game with BOP. I could fill a warehouse with all of the mats from the goodies I have to deconstruct on a daily basis because of BOP in especially Wrothgar and Undaunted dungeons.

...and as my luck will have it, I always get the less desirable traits like training or prosperous, or level 150 stuff that is completely useless to me. ...or gear for tanks, while all my characters are magica users.

Number of BOP items that have actually benefited me? Zero. If I leave the game, it will be because of BOP, and because of you killing the economy and established trading system... because as a new player, I have not had access to the good sets like established players, and its very difficult as it is, to break into the established cliques - made almost impossible by the lack of decent gear. ..and only people who already HAVE good gear get to do the kind of elite content that gives you more elite gear.
I have been crafting goodies and selling materials and motifs to make money to buy decent gear with - but with BOP, that will become impossible- so why am I still even bothering trying to break into this game? FYI, I'm an ESO+ member, and I buy a lot of goods on the crown store. So you will be losing some custom with this strange practice that you don't find in any other (popular) game.

I am disabled and generally can't do content like trials. My hands just can't do those long long boss fights. I appreciate that great players should get rewards but this change means that people like me will never be able to buy better gear from guild stores, making us even less competitive than we are now. The economy was working just fine. I could work and save to buy things in guild stores that I couldn't get from boss drops. People who could play better than me were able to exchange gear they won but didn't need for my gold. The economy worked. Why ruin that?
