With new Racial Passives to Argonian, are you creating a healer or changing your existing Templar?

I think it's a bad change imo. I'd prefer to keep the healing recieved

I thought about this but if you are healing for 9% more than aren't you being healed for 9% more as well? Isn't it 9% from/for all sources?

There is a difference between healing done and healing received.

Healing done will boost all healing you initiate, which includes any healing you do to yourself.

Healing received will boost only the healing you recieve, whether that be from you or someone else.

The difference here is that Argonians now heal everyone more effectively, rather than just themselves.

Keeping my healer the way she is.

I'l take my Altmer magicka regen for better sustain. I already heal 11k HPS with only Rapid Regen, which increases to over 40k HPS in a fight with adds after I drop Purify and Illustrious Healing and Repentance a few times.

In addition to varying from 10k to 60k DPS, depending on the scenario, I can off-DPS well, so the regen I get as an Altmer is important.

Also, my healer is cute, so that's something to consider. I don't want to change that; probably the best character I've ever made in any RPG.

Have been considering changing the Templar I usually heal on to argonian but will wait to see how this really turns out. That Templar would be less effective for dps than he is now. Have a second mag Templar I usually dps on so not they big of a deal.

My main is my Altmer magplar dps and I am very happy with her. She used to be my healer but I swapped her to dps late last year and took a break from the game in January of this year. On returning a couple of months back I was a pleasantly surprise to find suddenly magplar dps was dramatically much better. So I don't want to convert her to heals again.

I have a sorc heal with spc, however for trials and tough stuff she can't offer the sustain (stam) that a magplar healer can. I do have a Bosmer stamplar who I don't really play much as I generally prefer player magika toons. I am considering converting her to to heals but that would mean a race change. It's either that or buy a toon slot and grind another toon to 50 again. The price difference between rolling a new one and race change is therefore only 1k crowns, for me.

So, from what I have read, Argonian now offers the most utility for healing, rather than going the Breton/Altmer route. Thoughts? All constructive comments welcomed
