Has anyone got a screenshot of two of the new monster sets and their properties? I have another week to go working in the Aussie outback and can not jump onto the pts until then.

The first one has potential. I'll have to see how the 2 piece works in practice, but I can see it being decent. Even if the 2 piece is kind of wonky, I could see a stam build stacking 1 piece Velidreth with 1 piece Kena for a nice chunk of extra weapon damage.

The second set, though, has a 2 piece that is absolutely worthless. In no way does freeing up a single skill slot on your bar make up for passing on the extra ult AND resists from bloodspawn (resists that stack with other things), or even the resource return from Engine Guardian. It will very quickly become one of those sets that, if you see someone wearing the full set, you just kind of assume they don't really know what they are doing.

They're great, but we need some magicka recovery sets. I hope 1-2 of the future monster sets include it, and for those who don't know; there has been a few datamined already, so let's hope there's a magicka recovery piece in there, somewhere!

Too bad the first one is more for stam players. It have a good potential if it gave spell dmg too like Kena. The second one, not sure if it is good for tanking.

Is it me or does that 1st one seem to fit perfectly with Viper set? Although viper gives 8300 every 4s this is 10k 20% chance every 10s? Time to start farming keys again.

Glad to know theres no gear to get for magicka users in this expansion, ill be wearing IC gear for years to come apparently.
havent found a reason to buy this expansion after seeing the PTS notes and new gear

Well some new gear sets are actually pretty damn nice for magicka builds.

1 piece is good for tanks (better than Warden 1 piece), but 2 piece bonus is utter crap.

More than 2 years since launch and none of the devs can still come up with a decent tank set.
Ah well, at least the upscaled the Footman (not without nerfing it though).

So basically, the second set gives you "unstoppable" permanently. This could be useful if the buffs provided weren't already established majors. If these passive could be combined with other potions, set, or abilities that granted majors, it would be a great thing for tanks.

The second set frees up an ability slot for tanks, and saves on the cost of casting the ability, at the cost of losing out on some bonus AOE DPS, i.e. from DK spiked armor or sorc's lightning form. (Templars can also get the buff from their Rune Focus, but with some magic returned instead of getting additional AOE damage). Might be useful if you need the extra armor from the 1 piece set bonus. I suspect there are very few situations where the extra armor is worth the loss of DPS tho.

^This. Like I am really going to use that monster set instead of channeled focus on my Magpplar LOL... Stamina update again.
