Question about synergies

Hi all. Quick question: Are synergies usable by multiple people or is it a one time use thing? Like if I cast spear shards, can all three group members use it, or just one? Is it the same for all synergies?

Only one person can use the synergy.

In the case of shards, as well, it seems that if you throw three at a time only the most recent can be synergized.

So if you want to get a shard to each person on your team, you will be better off throwing one, waiting for someone to pick it up, then throwing a second, etc.

There is also a cooldown on synergizing shards, so if the same person will be needing the shards (i.e., the tank) wait 9 seconds between throws. (Cooldown is around 10 seconds).

All of this is across all shards, from different morphs or different people. They act as the same thing, so you can't double-shard someone by having two people throwing two different morphs. (Same goes for the orbs that give magicka from the undaunted line).
