So, you are upgrading it to 2.4.5 ? Shouldn't it be to 2.4.9 (tomorrow's live version) or to 2.5.0 (first Hist version) ?

Current PTS version is 2.4.4. There already is Dark Brotherhood on it.

Given the announcement on ESO Live this is almost certainly a typo - I expect it will be 2.5.0

2.4.5 is the Dark Brotherhood version that was put on Live when it released. Why that version, no idea. It is not like these announcements are canon. Theye are frequently wrong

I wondered this too, 2.4.5 makes no sense to me unless they need to patch to 2.4.5 in order to go to 2.5.0 the day after or something.

It's not updating to live version though, it's updating to a patch that's about four weeks old, doesn't seem to make much sense.

Only thing I can think of is perhaps they need to update to the latest live version (2.4.5) before they do the update to 2.5.0. I guess we'll know soon enough.

The latest live version is 2.4.9, they are updating to a patch that is almost a month old.

Well in 10 minutes they at least should know what patch they are applying!

Helpful if they told us. If just to bring the PTS up to live then fair enough but if for update 11 then Khajiit will arrange her evening so as to try and pop in and take a look at some point.

Think 2.4.5 patch must be mandatory for 2.5 in server side terms.
