It used to have ALL the motif previews of all types of armor/gender.
eso-fashion on steroids basically...
Cease and desist notice from ZoS perhaps?

Yes like I said, the brand name and copyrighted content was on the website, and those rules of that website - terms of service - demand a written agreeement with ZOS - if that is not given, they might just take the site down. Might be that company got a DMCA and acted on it. This is a guess, but it seems to me the most likely case.

I don't think so. Since ZOS promoted the site, they could have provided this written agreement easily.
If there's a copyright issue with the pictures and material on the site, then why doesn't eso fashion have copyright issues too ?
If it's a domain name issue that can be changed easily
If it's an issue with the site hosting company, that can be changed easily, too.
I don't see any "normal" reason for this huge work to be permanently trashed overnight and without an explanation. It must be something else, and we'll probably never know :-(

Most US companies which have services like this - react to an DMCA by immediate service interruption - the californian law is pretty strict and most service providers take content temporarily down as the first immediate action or block it - until the claim is resolved. In second life this was always a problem for any content provider, that a DMCA led to an immediate action of Linden Lab and the content in doubt was disabled, until this was resolved - it could be here something like this as well.
And the TOS of that side demands a written agreement - not one that could be eventually acquired, but one that already exists, before the content is put live.

Kind of annoying when somebody makes something great then all of a sudden deletes/removes everything connected to him/her (site, twitter) without saying a word then we're all left wondering if something happened, if it's coming back, googling for information, etc...
