Dear zos, please add some arenas and dueling.... Its long overdue

Common, arenas with capture the flag and oddball (halo) would be so fun.

They have mentioned something like that is in the works. Hoping PvP sees it soon.

PvP and PvE seem to be a waste of resources. Most of the PvE content in the next update will be rescaled old content. So little new, they are showing they care for nobody but the RPers/story players. They can milk those people for some much money. Being in an RP guild of only about 30-40 active players, I anticipate ZoS being able to milk them for thousands easily for content that takes almost no effort to produce.

Db and TG kinda sucked IMO, some cool parts. Just not enough content.

When the game was released and I found out Cyrodiil was the pvp zone, I was very disappointed too. Also thought it may resemble Cyrodiil from Oblivion, another disappointment. Such is life.

I would place bets that dueling comes with One Tamriel.
Hopefully Arenas will come too. I think they did confirm they were working on it, but don't remember where.

I think some of my friends thought the same thing. They expected it to be like it was in Oblivion. A couple of us took our exclusive PVE ONLY guild mates to Cyrodiil the other night to collect skyshards and do dolmens that they were missing. They were really enjoying themselves at first, and really excited about being in Cyrodiil, and then about 8 of them went into a cave to get a shard, whilst the rest of us waited outside, and they ALL got killed by one EP guy in there, and most of them left immediately, swearing never to return to Cyrodiil again lol

What new things were announced today? A babershop that was promised like a year and a half ago and two new dungeons? Oh yeah, and now you can dye your costumes!!!!! Hype!!!! /sarcasm

Seriously, this new 'content' isn't even enough to be called a quarterly DLC. All it does is show how small the development team has become so the remaining big wigs can profit the most from the game hardworking developers made

Agreed to an extent. the PVP is just a zerg fest, which I've never liked that kind of PVP. I love solo and 1v1 duels, or competitive based small group PVP. Not huge *** storms of a million players, that reminds me of some weird science fiction fantasy MMO I used to play. It was so terrible, literally defined the word zerg or whatever. This game took it to a new level though, I cannot stand PVP.

The only PVP in this game I enjoy is the random encounters while doing PVP quests. I enjoy the occasional 1v1 or 2v1, but not when it's 10-20 players on both sides. I don't get into suicide bombing either, just can't stand ESO's pvp format. We really need a duel system bad.

People all against "zerging". Not sure why, this game style - swords, armies, horses, sieges , march on castles in numbers etc. Involves big numbers.

Bit boring one guy taking a keep by himself with no human players defending just NPC. I like the concept of big group vs group battles, when you get good ones with no lag it's really great.

No I'm not a zerger but I understand what it brings, they want to siege and have big epic battles etc. People complain of getting killed by a Zerg, well unless you escape it's likely to happen.

I'm all for arenas and duelling etc.

I don't PvP because I don't enjoy the way PvP works in this game. However, I will advocate for duels and an arena every chance I get. And make the arena lore-friendly please. No silly games please. But one v one up to teams of a dozen each facing off against each other! With spectators and in game gold betting please! And a standings board! Unique gladiator-style gear drops (BoE PLEASE!) for rewards please!

I don't know if you were trolling or being serious, but if you were, you clearly don't understand ESO community. We have a huge chunk of PvP oriented playerbase, so the resources should and thankfully will be used in PvP related content. That does not mean that PvE should be neglected, it's a great part of ESO and it is actually well designed and fun.

There is always other games. Duels and Arenas deviate from what the core of this game is, maybe 5% of the player population want them and the rest want the best Cyrodill experience we can get. Arenas and BGs have been done, you can go play WoW or GW2 for them.

This game is a success and and has a strong player base without them. Arenas and Duels just aren't needed. I just don't get why everyone wants a reskin of WoW here.

Don't jump the shark. Say nay to same old tired formula that are BG's and put in the Justice System.

No, you're not. You're a small subset of the Cyrodill community. We have great RvRvR PvP now. We want it to get better, we don't need instanced battlegrounds, we need the lag fixed and new features in Cyrodill.

Then please, don't ruin it for everyone else. You have WoW, you have Guilds Wars 2.

You want the same tired formula and ESO will have jumped the shark and sealed its fate as another reskinned WoW clone.
