Hey there,

With the recent update to sanctum ophidia i'd like to run the trial on my ps4.
Since there is no looking for trial option i wondered how you guys are able to find groups?
Are there any good guilds or something?

Thanks!

Pretty much find a guild that runs trials. Unfortunately the guild recruiting section of the forums is a mess, but as a console player I don't know any better direction to point you. Good luck!

You don't untill they 1 fix the group tool, hopefully for the last damn time 2 add LFG - Trial functionality (or atleast DSA) and 3 possibly wait till One Tamriel. If it is what I suspect it to be, finding groups will be infinitely more easy. But none of it will matter if they don't get their lazy asses on the group tool and server performance

Unless they made a easy Trial mode for LFG you would need to run with friends or a guild

I think there's a way to invite other members within a guild in joining you. I received an onscreen invite a few times from one of my guildmates to join into a trial or something. I'm on PS4 and not sure yet how that is done.

would love a trial lfg or guild that actually runs with all members sadly on console all i find is guild's stating active then they only ever take the same 12 people into trials cuss they know this group works and never sub in anyone :/

They just need to add text chat to console version.
Atm its really easy to find a pug for nSO and nMoL, even in trading guild or /z.
I wouldnt trust group finder tool as even AA would be impossible if you get a dd queued as a tank and healers that only heal themselves. Trial mechanics are not very difficult (except vMoL), but they require at least minimal effort and responsibility, which you cannot expect from group finder groups. It has nothing to do with minmaxed builds etc, but if you'll get a group of 12 people doing random stuff, nothing good will come out of it. There have been enough "nerf it, I cannot beait it with a random pug!" threads.

They will add it back at some point once the trials are all able to scale. It was part of the Activity Finder at launch, but removed around Orsinium.

I hope not, that would suck so bad not being able to kick people or getting a 15 minute penalty because you don't want to be in AA for 9hrd when you can run it in 9 minutes.

Im on PC and I did PUG normal sanctum more than one time. the overall dificulty is so low that you can do the whole dungeon at 8 and manticore at 5. I had pretty bad group, 2 tank fighting aggro back and forth, healer not healing or BoL in raid... amazing DPS at under 6k with a bow...

All you can think off and we completed every times

The grouping tool doesn't work for trials - only group dungeons.

If you want to do a trial, you can go to a popular area (like Rawl'kha in AD) and just ask in zone. Groups often hang out there while forming up for a trial, so there's a reasonable chance you can get an invite that way. Or someone will know someone who can get you an invite.

My advice: If you aren't very experienced with trials, just be up front about it. Most people are happy to teach someone, or have someone along for their first time. But if you don't speak up and then act like a noob in the trial... well, people aren't as forgiving then. Just sayin'.

I think adding the normal versions of Trials to the activity finder would be useful perhaps. The mechanics are more involved, so in some ways tougher than veteran dungeons... I would recommend going with some friends rather than queueing solo for them so you know at least some of what you are getting into. But sometimes getting enough people together can be a giant lesson in patience, so it is useful to have the option to add the last few people you need.

Adding the veteran versions to a group finder would be a mistake. There's so much coordination required, and even normal MoL can be impossible if even one person has no interest in following the mechanics or communicating. (Text chat for consoles would be magnificent for explaining mechanics for those without mics). PUG it on normal, then run veteran if you lucked into a good group.

As for how people get the group together, typically it's a guild event, although I have heard people looking to PUG them in Rawl'ka before. Most times people will grab their core group, then some look for randoms to fill out their numbers.

Why be normal when you can be better?
