I don't get the point of this thread. Just a clickbait title, with a video that just showed up how bad your build is. Like really, the temp was not top tier or anything, if you were fighting a better templar with the same setup I doubt there wouldn't even be a long enough video to post in this thread. I'm sorry if you don't like my harsh comments, but they way you have responded to other people in this thread who are trying to help you I think its well deserved

Malubeth is OP, sure, but everyone knows that already, there are like 20 threads dedicated to it. Heck, you were using Steel Tornado as a single target damage ability when he wasn't even in good execute range, I don't think there is much here to see...

I find the title somewhat misleading. Anyways, your approach to the fight was a bit off. Like others have said, you need to go with burst damage in a situation like this. You can definitely work with steel tornado as an execute, but you need to do it right. It takes determination and a side of desperation, but it can definitely work.

I would recommend an attack from stealth approach, use Hidden Dagger or its morphs from stealth for a good stun, get them to about 50% health, dragon leap, steel tornado. If you botch the attack, DK's have a lot of options for CC's which is nice, you can easily drain a magicka build of stamina, CC them some more or throw some rocks at them and bash their face occasionally for good measure.

That being said, Stam DK's are really the king of stealth assassination, use this to your advantage. People like to think that NB's are the preferred class for stealthy assassinations some reason, probably because of their attack from stealth passive, but in this way of thinking they have overlooked the Stamina DK. Basically, just take some time to work on your approach keeping this little tidbit in mind. While there is certainly a time for a full on adrenaline and rage induced frontal approach, some situations require a bit more finesse and sneaky-sneaky.

This is why removing VET ranks was a mistake, people have not yet learned their skills but assume they have mastered their classes.

On a final note having vigor & rally on a bar do you really NEED to pop Vigor @ like 95% hp?

i watched the whole damn thing. he was still affected by recently leaving his rune, so he still had bonus healing intake and looking at how he used potions, wouldnt surprised me he ran the vitaility potion, i might not be great but i know when someone hard counters a build, just cut your losses and accept this was a fight you were just not ment to win, i could point out both you and his flaws but then where would the learning come in? not that you are willing to learn as previously stated.

and i dont play on a console. i play consoles PTS, aka, pc. if you had reading skills you'd see that in my sig.

Lol love the buff nightblade stuff, we have nightblades hitting for 90K in pve, have seen 30K in pvp but yeah buff them some more:) how about instead we just add a special button on log in, when you press it its shouts "you win everything ever!! Good job!"

Try looking at the other malbeth threads on here. The healing recieved from a proc is undeniably higher then intended. And critique the build all you want. I used it intentionally to proc this crutch set. Or did your dota skills overlook that one

Okay I hoped this thread would be lost over night but it clearly didn't.
So now I'm gonna try to tell you what happend objectively.

First as many said you use a DoT build against a Templar. those hardcounter DoT builds with all the stacked healing and easy purging with Ritual of Retrebution.

Second thats not only Malubeth what kicks him up that high. He got HoT's up. So Major Mending+Malubeth proc+CP in Blessed+CP in Quick Recovery. Thats at least 55% more healing without any CP. You won't DoT that down every if he has any knowledge of how to play.

Also I'm not saying Malubeth is too strong in 1v1 but at least on EU we got it banned now in duels. 1vX on the other hand you just need Malubeth to not get insta killed by a zerg. I think it would be nice to change it to Major Mending so its not too strong but still worth it for Sorcs and NB's that don't have Major Mending class wise.

I was using malubeth on my magic nightblade before this patch, question is do I change it to avoid being accused of this junk or sick with my original set up...or go back to my stamina sorcerer, at least there's no chance of being c accused of being OP our taking advantage then:)

Have you been reading the posts made here? It's been said if I'm not mistaken more than once already in this thread that the issue with Malubeth is known and spoken about in other threads, ergo someone has said something about it. Malubeth is one thing but we also noticed ways you could've performed better and so we mention it.
