Werewolf Questions

Immovablestone
Hi there, some questions about the nature of being in the werewolf form. Do ALL weapon and armor passives, weapon proc properties (enchants, specials, poisons/etc) and things like while-slotted skill properties from your non-transformed werewolf bar still function while you are in form with the new skills? How about something like alchemist where you drink a potion for a proc, does that carry over also?

Idk about weapon or armor passives but I do know that weapon properties, such as enchants, carry over.
While-slotted skill properties do not carry over.
Any abilities from sets do carry over so for things like Clever Alchemist, drinking a potion would proc the set.

While-slotted abilities only work if they are on the active bar, so if you can't put them on your werewolf bar they do not work.

Yeah thats about what I figured thanks. The weapon/armor passives are a big question mark though, if you wanted to build specifically to be a WW they would be a big factor.

Armor passives work. Weapon passives do not, because you're not using the weapons.

Awesome thanks, I assume weapon traits don't carry over either yet armors traits do? Does your weapon's impact on your weapon damage Stat carry over or is that replaced entirely by the transform? Further, do you lose the set piece bonuses from the weapon slots when you shift?

Your weapon passives don't work, but you still get experience for whatever weapon happens to be in your hands when you transform. So if you have a two-handed weapon equipped when you transform and it's not yet 50, it will continue to get experience for that weapon while in werewolf form. What you have on your armor do carry over including traits, enchants, and set bonuses.
  • Immovablestone
Do the set bonuses your weapons are a part of transfer to the form? And is your wielded weapons part of your weapon damage transferred to the form?

I'm gonna guess this a lot like overload.

You keep your armor bonuses from weapons while in overload mode.

So even though you can't use your weapons, or see them, they still count for how many armor peices you are wearing towards a set.

So an example would be, I have x3 clever alchemist armor and am DW two clever alchemist swords, (giving me a total of 5 clever alchemist). I transform into WW, I drink a potion, I will trigger Clever Alchemist x5 armor set bonus and gain 670whatever weapon and spell damage. While in the WW form.

I think also this means if you had x5 mork (one being a weapon etc) you can LA and HA for the proc.

How about class passives, like templars Balanced Warrior passive and others like it that grand a flat bonus with no skill slot requirement?

Everything carries over except passives that either require you to be using a specific weapon, or having a specific skill on your bar.

Your armor set still counts (including weapon pieces), your weapon enchants can still proc, your general passives (class passives, undaunted, etc) still work, as do the ones for your armor types, etc. Your active weapons' influence on your weapon damage also remains.
Why be normal when you can be better?

Armor passive works. Weapons doesnt but the enchant. And the amount of damage you have on the weapon has effect. And wearing heavy armor as a werewolf is the bomb.
