I dis-agree. End game gear should be hard to get/make ...PhxOldGamer68 wrote: »Just makes no sense.

Really sucks for us non-dungeon players who like to create our own stuff. 150 X 7 items (armor only) = 1050 Mats of Rubewhatever. That's a lot of farming. I haven't found on the forums why ZOS made it such a big jump. Just makes no sense.

I made a set of gear this weekend the same as my CP150 gear, only CP160 and gold. What a dissapointment. I gained a whole 540 Magic (I am at 30K so not a big jump really), 1% more Critical Strike, and maybe a total of 40 more Spell Power. It might be more spell power, but not much more. Not really a difference maker in my mind.
So, I am keeping my characters in CP150 Purple/Gold gear for now.
All the above applies to armors.
Weapons on the other hand are worth making CP160. You get a nice 10% increase in Damage. Running a Destro Staff CP160 in Gold with Sharpened is a noticeable improvement. Or any other weapon really. Sharpened, CP160 and Gold Improvement. You may look at the other weapon traits, trying them on a CP150 weapon to see if they do anything for your build and playstyle. Then once you find what you like, make it in CP160

Totally agree, I had a nice stockpile (1k all mats) ready for DB to drop. You really have to plan ahead.

Random Dungeons is where I get -most- of my mats.
Between leather drops from mobs and equipment drops for decon, it's way more fun that running around hitting nodes.
But I see no reason not to throw a node or three in there.
