I know 43 were perma banned, but what happened after that, so these threads keep coming? Sorry for my cluelessness and thanks for any info.

Jessica already clarified that permabans do not mean "permanent".

Please take careful note, this is not talking about cases of wrongful bans, this is "giving second chances" to people who have been permabanned simply after "speaking with them". Nothing is even done to their accounts.

And yes, the evidence is players seeing people who were permabanned now in game and gloating about what they did. I don't know what you expect from asking us for the specific evidence on these individuals, since anyone who provides it for you is liable to be banned for "naming and shaming".

Why name something permaban if its not permanent. Bunch of incompetent fools. Disgrace who they are handling this, with little response from company, they would rather use there time to silence people and Daryk thread sweeper sweeps away. Shameful behavior from any company.

This stacks up right besides last year's " We have no plans to change the current subscription model.", literally weeks before the b2p announcement. Zeni has many times shown themselves to be a company without integrity, willing to publicly lie to their customers through all forms of media, and try to spin it afterwards. Anybody who expects differently from them is foolish.

I still enjoy the game very much, until something comes along that I like better. But I stopped respecting or trusting Zeni long ago. Their reaction to the rampant exploits is exactly aligned with what I expect from them anymore.

You forgot the 'we have no intention of revisiting older content' and now we have "One Tamriel".
