Theres an article just release regarding the future of ESO, and it stated

". "You don’t see a hardcore playstyle - like playing for six months and then quitting - we don’t see that. We have a lot of players who will play for two or three weeks because they want to get through a zone and then stop. Then they come back two months later for another month, because there’s no pressure to play all of it at once. "

so basically, us active, hardcore who wants the game to be the best.. are left behind and unwanted. No wonder theres yet to be any real pvp dlc, after so many players gave their voiced and even wrote a whole damn essay about it..

atleast give us capes >:)

Would you rather we go back to mandatory subscription fees for all in order to have stable content releases like other big MMO's? Generally after 2 years an expansion is planned for, since they had a falling out with that payment structure that's more of a bleak outlook on ever getting one. DLC's are easier in getting impulsive buyers to pump more revenue for half the price and 1/10th the content an expansion would give you.

Sad all of us hardcore subbers are tossed under the bus like this :o

I must admit I was disappointed reading that, yes. Whether it's wrong or not? Well I guess it's their game and their decision to do with it whatever they like.
If you can be anything, be kind.

Would rather pay a subscription fee than play what ESO has become. Since Tamriel Unlimited was released there has been many changes for the worst. Including but not limited to; influx of immature players, growing performance issues, increased latency issues, very "lax" development and fixes and varying other things.

Not to say that these things didn't exist in some capacity while ESO was a subscription model, but they were very "limited" at the time. They will never transition back to subscription, but those of us who enjoyed to play a lag free, mostly bug free, ESO will miss it forever.

I knew they would eventually appeal more to a casual game style because it tends to happen to a lot of MMO'S

Dunno about you, but I haven't played for 6 months then quit. I haven't STOPPED playing since early access.

I read "hardcore" in that statement as "obsessive followed by burnout".
