Any timeline on the Return of the Natch Potes Writer (aka Ms. Gina)?

Hey guys, Lord Arena25 here.

Not to needlessly talk about myself in the third person, but Lord Arena25 is wondering what the plan is for the return of the Natch Potes writer, aka Gina Bruno.

For those who have been living under a rock, about a month ago, Gina got some well-deserved legendary quality loot in the form of her new baby. She has since been on maternity leave.

Lord Arena25 is wondering if anyone at ZeniMax knows when her target return date is. I'm not trying to rush her (enjoy your legendary loot for as long as you want, Gina, no pressure), but as of right now Lord Arena25 doesn't know how long it's been since she's been out. And it does not help that Lord Arena25 lost track of time after having his wisdom teeth taken out.

So, a simple question...how long is it until the natch potes writer returns? Lord Arena25 knows Ms. Jessica Folsom has...reluctantly...stepped in to write the patch notes, but Ms. Jessica is no substitute for Ms. Gina (no offense to Ms. Jessica).

Any info would be appreciated.

Signed,

Lord Arena25

P.S. On a completely unrelated side note, I'm hoping to return to the game soon after getting my new laptop. Hopefully, if all goes well, I'll be able to use my laptop not only for college, but also for ESO. I can't wait.

Jessica is doing a great job as fill-in for Gina.

Let Gina have as much time as she can. I think she only gets 6 weeks unpaid or some crummy amount like that where she lives unless ZoS has some great maternity policy (doubtful, as most companies don't care at all about stuff like that), so let her take all of it without any pressure.

Those first weeks/months of having a baby never come again.

Also, several players have commented that Jessica is no substitute for Gina when it comes to writing the natch potes...but of course, Jessica is doing the best she can, and I applaud her for that.

Ughh wisdom teeth. Why do humans even have these things anymore. I was chewing my food just fine between 10-18 yo. I've had 2 removed because they were so buried at the back of my mouth that I couldn't reach them with a toothbrush and they were rotting away. Just local though, no general. Did get a dry socket with one of them. That hurt.

Jessica is maybe not quite as playful as Gina with the weekly notes, but I have to say I really liked the 2.4.5 notes where she separated the "new since last PTS patch" into it's own section so I didn't have to re-read the whole thing line by line looking for changes myself.

Hey @ZOS_JessicaFolsom, pin a little note on Gina's cubicle for when she gets back. That addition to the DB patch notes was very welcome.

I agree. Having wisdom teeth extracted sucked. I was able to recover from the general anesthesia pretty well, so much that I was able to go back to playing video games the next day, but I still cannot have warpstone charms (aka Jolly Ranchers) or popcorn, which sucks. The problem is, I usually consume a Jolly Rancher or two during a tough boss fight when I need extra clarity, and since I can't have that until mid-July, that sucks.

I also agree that the new since last PTS patch was extremely helpful and very welcome. Granted, I haven't been able to play right now due to disk space, but once I get my new laptop, that should hopefully change (and yes, I know my laptop won't be best for gaming, but I really want to play ESO again so I can steal crap again, regardless of whether I crash 500 times in the process.)

I do agree that the patch notes should be Gina's playfulness combined with the very welcome "new since last PTS" that Jessica made. Best of both worlds, really.

Anyway, I'll be back later when I can be bothered.

Is 6 weeks it? Women are entitled to up a year off here! With rights to pay and their job protected (ie they can't be demoted due to being on maternity leave). 6 weeks is nothing!

In the US it's mostly up to the employer for whom you work and the state in which you live. By federal law as a new mother you are entitled to 12 weeks of unpaid leave if you worked for the same employer for a year with a sufficient numbers of hours logged and only if it is a mid-sized or larger company. Anything else varies from place to place and company to company.

It's shocking, really, the difference. It's a lot of difference between up to 52 weeks on 90% pay and 12 weeks unpaid.

Anyway, wishing Gina and her family all the best :)

Out of wedlock? You really were living under a rock. Mr Gina aka Mr. Bruno played the proud co-star in the production "Natch Potes Baby". I thought Tamriel would be a pretty name for a baby girl but Jamie is cute too.

Gina, relax and enjoy the moments; we'll still be here when you get back.

Hmm, what country are you from @Epona222 ? Here in Canada as far as I'm aware companies are required to give you 17 weeks unpaid maternity leave and 35 weeks unpaid parental leave (the 17 weeks is only for the mother, the 35 weeks can be split between the mother and father if you choose, or it can all be added on at the end of the mother's 17 weeks to make a total of 52 weeks). During that time you get government benefits of 55% of your normal pay, and many (most?) companies will top that up to one extent or another. I may be getting some of the specifics wrong, that's just how I remember it being explained to me by my sister when she first went on mat leave years ago.

Also, does anyone know what phases of the moons Gina's baby was born under? Did she have a cathay, a suthay-raht, an ohmes, or maybe an alfiq? B)

Yes, Gina herself said in the last live show, where she took part in, that it will be about 6 weeks.
