Best Healer gear.

Hi all.

My lvl 50 Tampler just became CP 180
And im looking to turn him in a Healer.

Can any one tell mee what the best gear is for a End Game Healer.

Spell power cure. Nothing beats it, even as a dps your jabs heal you and give you the buff it's awesome, heck any crit heal given at full health still gives you the buff.

Pick two sets that give either:
-add Magicka
-rejuv Magicka
-add healing (weapon trait)
-reduce rejuv staff or magic abilities or both
-try to wear two sets if possible to get a 5 bonus and 4 it that works for your build

A hardcore Trials healer will want 5 Spell Power Cure and 5 Worm Cult. You are definitely not hardcore, so any decent magicka setup will be fine for you (Kagrenacs, Magnus, Seducer, whatever). Spell Power Cure is the best set you can get, but it takes a while to farm.

The farm is so easy now, shoes dropping like mudcrabs on a monster hunter farm.

Spell power is the best. However you must farm white gold for it.

Crafting wise, I use 5 kagernacs and 3/4 Magnus. Tons of recovery, great for healing and picking up other players.

My top 3:

1. 5 Spell power cure and 5 worm cult (best choice for trials)
2. 5 Kagrenacs 1 Molag Kena 2 Torug pact 3 willpower
3. 5 Spell power cure 5 healer (healer set is v14, but upgraded they do the job just fine)

For crafted sets, Kagrenacs is your best choice.

I am also currently using 5 Kagrenac's ... along with 3 Julianos (4 Julianos with sword & board).

I'm an amazing healer, and I use 5 Seducer, 3 to 4 Magnus, and 2 Vicious Death. I do, however, have a lot of experience in healing.

I would say that experience is preferable to gear, but good gear includes Healer's Habit (if you can get it), Spell Power Cure, and basically any set that looks good on a healer.

However, I don't really see any good monster set for a healer. If you go with a monster set, I'd definitely choose either 1 Kena and take another piece of armor, or 2 Skoria for the dps.

My personal choice would be:
5 spell power cure, kena head, 5 infallable aether (jewelery, healing staff, 1 armour piece), msa destro staff
But there is not one best healer setup. Depending on your group and boss you fight there can be sets that are more usefull than what I mentioned.

WGT has been nerfed to the ground and gear drops from every boss and seems to have a higher chance from mobs too, i got 3 or 4 pieces of SPC in 2 runs earlier, although expect prosperous and training lol, they'll do for filler pieces until you get perfect traits

For a Templar Healer, 5 x Julianos + 3 x Willpower + 2 or 3 Torug's Pact + 1 x Molag Kena is pretty nice and not hard to get. Two crafted sets, jewellery which can be farmed for free in Vet Dungeons and/or with Imperial City tokens (Bone Shards and Dark Ethers, iirc), and Undaunted Shoulders.

I use the same setup on my Sorc Healer but with Julianos switched to Kagrenac's for the rez time bonus. Of course, Templars already have a class passive to give them a rez time bonus.

I've been going into the IC Vet Dungeons on most Pledge days and I still don't have 5 x Divines Spell Power Cure. This set either needs serious farming or lots of blessings from RNGesus.

I use the same setup on my healer, with Skoria. Works great and can DPS a little. I have Healers Habit also, but dont need it so much, heals are pretty strong. I have tried the Niteflame monster set, but it doesn't proc very much, and almost never when you need it.

I use 5x Spellpower Cure, 3 Willpower, 2 Torug´s and 1 Molag Kena.
It works best for me and my group in 4man dungeons. Spellpower Cure is a great support

There is very few healing sets that are up to date (160 CP) and good. As such best healer gear is more which stats do you want (there are hundreds of ways to achieve similar stats between multiple set options). it mostly depends on:

how you prefer to heal?
large heals infrequently, (requires more spell power)
or smaller heals more regularly (requires more magicka regen)
HoTs and burst healing really benefits from good spell crit

what content do you want to heal?
PvE/PvP/12man/4man/guild or PUG

on a templar 1500 regen is perfectly fine for healing most content if your group is semi competent (you don't need to spam heal). On a PuG you may decide you want more regen,

ALSO consider you can run multiple sets by DW on the back bar. your main set may be 5x Julianos (1 staff + 4 armor). and you could switch bars to 5x kragenacs (2xswords +3 amor). in case you need to revive someone quickly

From the trial leaders I used to run with, they preferred I wear Spell Power Cure + Work Cult. Golded out destroyed lightning staff with elemental drain and blockade + golded out powered restoration staff. Worked like a charm. Used it on a Templar and sorc healer.

I believe the golden rule is 1 set that supports allies while other supports your max heals (or dps).

There's actually a lot of options depends what you want to do and how you want to do it. Though if I had to give a answer worm and spell power cure complement your class well. Another option is wormand inventors guard to have allies get more power!

Its easy to solo normal upto the 3 bosses, there're often 1 or 2 chests before that as well.

I use either 5x Spell Power Cure & 5x Wom and master Resto
OR: 5x Spell Power Cure & 5x Mending and master Resto
Depending on the group I'm in.
If it's a trial with two healers you want one with mending one with worm.
For general Pledges ect i use the SPC\Worm combo since many of my friends are mostly magicka users.
For pvp... I use 5x Spell Power Cure & 5x Transmutation and master Resto (though I'm an not very experienced in pvp)
I know farming gear can be a pain, so when just starting out try using 3x cheap willpower jewlery and 5x Kagrenacs and 3x Magnus which are a crafted sets for a bit until you can farm what you need.

Lol I was reading through and never realized it was necro and was thinking this whole time "why is no one mentioning mending yet..."

I don't personally recommend gossamers though.

Healers Habit was upgraded to v16. It can be obtained pretty cheap since other sets are more desirable these days.

Necro aside

5pc Lich (chest,legs,hands,waist, stave), 5pc Healers Habit (3x jewellery/boots/stave) 2pc Troll King. Divines / infused.

Close to 4k mag regeneration when proceed. Dyloras Staff on back bar to proc Lich and HH Resto in front.

With the exception of Troll King I've run the same setup for 2 years+ and healed literally everything. Took a bit if a nerf in MW but not unworkable still.. if I ran trials then I'd switch HH out for SPC.
