Curious as to what should i be leveling to max ASAP, for pvp. but also give me a smooth leveling experienced ( low downtime, good mob kills, fast quest clears )

i focus more to pvp than pve, and i aim to be high dps,DD.
I went as redguard since i hear its the best class for stam dk ( more sustain = more damage )

also what sort of armor does dps stam dk usually go with? med or heavy?

Leveling? 1 to 50? Unless your looking to join the Non Champ Campaign, just use whatever you get from Mob Drops. You don't need Crafted or Dropped sets until you get to Champ levels or PvP

Your also not going to find any dropped sets if your looking to level fast, you will be leveled out of the sets in hours.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

im looking for a efficient way to maximize my "needed" weapon tree skills before hitting lv 50. As i rather jump straight to pvp than have to grind a few days cause i went with "stavs" as stam dk, but i was suppose to go melee weapons.

Stamina usually use medium armor, although for leveling purposes I would also recommend wearing at least one piece of heavy and one of light, just to progress the skill lines. (This way you have options should the meta change). I always make sure I have one of each armor type while leveling, just in case.

    For weapons:
    Bow is for range (Obviously)
Two hander is very powerful for single target
Dual wield is very good for aoe

You can level a skill line by putting a skill from it on your bar, even if you don't have the corresponding weapon equipped, so I would recommend putting a skill from whichever melee tree you are NOT using on your bar as well, so you level all three. (You can't use the ability, but you can level the ability and skill that way).

For DK skill trees, you will want to level all three:
Ardent Flames has two stamina morphs and a magicka skill that will boost your weapon critical by passive slotting it.
Draconic Power has a lot of great survivability passives.
Earthen Heart has some great passives for sustainability, plus a skull that will boost damage (spell and weapon) for your group, and a shield that will boost your healing.

    I hope this helps?
Why be normal when you can be better?

    Elissandra Ravenwing, Magicka Dragonknight Healer
    Lady Kalila, Stamina Templar DPS
    Stands-in-Danger, Nightblade Saptank
    Zalarah, Stamina Dragonknight DPS

It is for running in groups. For open world solo play you'll want 2 handed. Also 2h gives you a heal probably quicker than you'll get vigor. With dark brotherhood dual wield might be more viable with imperial city being revitalized making steel tornado spam king in close quarters zergs. Also the Rapid strikes cast time will be cut in half making it less likely to get you killed while channeling
