Hey ZOS...for the announcement of Skyrim: The Definitive Edition, can we have a Dragon Motif? Like it looked in Skyrim? I know it's not lore and in conjunction with the time period...but i think it'll look pretty badass.

I too would like that dragon motif or at least a variation of it. It was one of my favorite armor styles in Skyrim.

    But there is dragon poop!

Edit: apparently scute is an external bony or horny plate, therefore there is no reason we can't have dragon armor.

Maybe we can compromise and make a "Daedric Titan" armor that looks like the dragon armor.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Dragonbone is a type of datamined metal ore.

It may eventually become one of the future blacksmithing materials placed in a higher tier than Rubedite.

As for the style..... not sure it'll happen. Draugr will become craftable though! (very nordic)

This makes sense, however Dragon Scute is a style material so they could add Dragon Scales as a style material as well

Interesting. I remember Skyrim used both for crafting. It makes sense they'd use it with all the bones you see around. I kinda hope they don't get silly with it though.

I won't be surprised if dragons eventually show up ingame. Even if they are supposed to exist on the future, a time break might send them in here.

But there are plenty of dragon bones and skeletons all over Tamriel. You don't need a live dragon to unearth their skeletons. Maybe you haven't noticed, but there's a plethora of dragon bones/skulls and skeletons and even a full quest line related to a dragon skelly in ESO.
Remember - dragons in Skyrim are raised from their graves, where they have been for ages - they are all there during 2nd era, just not alive yet. So having dragon bone motif/style is far from unreasonable.

    Sometimes, I dream about...cheese...

Dermont - v16 Pompous Altmer Sorcerer (With a very arrogant face!)
Egonieser - v16 Nord Stamina Dragonborn Wannabe
Endoly - v16 Tiny Redguard Sharpened MaceBlade
Egosalina - v16 Breton Cheesus Beam Specialist
Egowen - v16 Dunmer Whipping Expert (Riding crops eluded her)
(Yes, I had to grind all these to v16)
Akamanakh - lvl 22 Khajiit GankBlade (Inspired by Top Cat)
Targos Icewind - lvl 34 Imperial (Future) Jabplar
    (CP 830+)

    PC - EU

I'd see a port to current gen consoles more likely than a remaster, but I'd prefer a remaster.
And patches. Skyrim was left with way too many game-breaking bugs after its final patch...

Why? Oblivion is awesome! I actually like it better than Skyrim, I find the quests more interesting, especially the guild ones.
Is it just because people in Oblivion have potato heads?

I have no idea, but on the Bethesda forums the hate goes mostly to Oblivion among the 5 main TES titles. And ESO, naturally.

Indeed. Go play Skyrim if you want dragon armor. OP just as well. And, no, this isn't Skyrim.

Bone armor that looks similar to dragon armor? Sure, I don't see why not. There's plenty of beasts around with obviously strong bones, such as trolls and mammoths, which seem to be pretty common in this era. Implementing bone armor would also be a nice explanation why they are relatively rare in Skyrim during 3rd era - because of hunting for bone armor and ivory.

I'd love to have a sword made out of mammoth's ivory. Or a shield made out of its head. Hell, his skull could serve as a wonderful heavy chestplate for protection. The lighter types of armor could be made out of seperate bones stitched together. Helmets could easily have horns. There's plenty of rams and other creatures around that could provide that.

Well maybe not hate but strong dislike. I see a lot of people go after "Skyrim fanboys" and say Skyrim was just disappointing. I loved it and it got me into the entire ES universe. If I hadn't played Skyrim I probably would have never touched ESO or any other ES game.

That would be so cool, and like others have mentioned, there can be lore-related ways of obtaining this armor.... it was definitely my favourite looking armor in Skyrim, next to Daedric.

I walked right through it in no time at all. The characters look like Neanderthals.Ugly,ugly,ugly.Even with mods they're still ugly. Skyrim has the same problem, though the mods for faces are a little better. Not much, but a little. Also,OB was just way to easy.I would have played through Skyrim, but one huge bug stopped me. Not being able to continue as an Imperial Soldier. One person's arrow was theree, but she wasnt,so I could go no further in the main questline.
Morrowind is a better game than either of those two.Just my opinion though. Most players who love Skyrim so much havent played the earlier games.I say most,..not all.
