I'm pretty sure most fans want "Morro-blivi-rim: Definitive Edition" with mod support, aka "The Last Game You'll Ever Need".

there's nothing to definite, they are just rereleasing it for x1 and p4, like many other remasters.

Their allowing you to use Mods for it the only remaster to allow it so its not the same as others.

Yeah, what makes me wonder is how will the modding work on consoles? Surely they will be quite basic with the stock modding tool provided by Bethesda, perhaps something similar to Doom's snapmap (obviously for TES), as I can't see consoles having the same or even close the capability to mod the game in a large way like you can on a PC. Some of the mods require extensive outside resources, separate coding and 3rd party programs and tools, none which are available on consoles nor the stock modding tool included in all TES games. Don't think there will ever be a Skywind project on consoles anytime soon - the work and resources and computing power required to make it is insane.

    Sometimes, I dream about...cheese...

Dermont - v16 Pompous Altmer Sorcerer (With a very arrogant face!)
Egonieser - v16 Nord Stamina Dragonborn Wannabe
Endoly - v16 Tiny Redguard Sharpened MaceBlade
Egosalina - v16 Breton Cheesus Beam Specialist
Egowen - v16 Dunmer Whipping Expert (Riding crops eluded her)
(Yes, I had to grind all these to v16)
Akamanakh - lvl 22 Khajiit GankBlade (Inspired by Top Cat)
Targos Icewind - lvl 34 Imperial (Future) Jabplar
    (CP 830+)

    PC - EU

It probably be the same as it is with Fallout 4.I haven't used the mods since I just got the game but I can ask a buddy what the requirements are for mods but I know most Mods you can get on PC you can also get on Xbox now.

You will be surprise a lot I mean a lot of people expect it to be announced or at least teased.Truthfully am sire they won't since it will pretty much kill this game for a few months.

Realistically? No, although I really wish it would. It's been five years, which was the gap between Oblivion and Skyrim, and I'm starting to get worried. One of the deep dark fears I have is that Skyrim could be the last single player TES, which would be awful in my opinion because one of the main quests lines (the civil war quest lines) ended with a cliffhanger. I don't know how to explain it in English and I understand it sounds dumb to other people because it is a personal fear of mine, but I fear that them "giving more attention" to Skyrim might mean that we are a long way from getting another single player TES, if we ever do get it at all.

I just want the story to continue :(
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Spoiler
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Well, it depends on how much time people have to play. But yeah, I still play Skyrim when my internet is being funny.

If that new Skyrim version for consoles comes with mods - or will get mods - this would be a huge boost to the amount of active TES fans and IMO this can just be good for ESO as well. These games are not excluding each other, but rather complement each other. When new players have done Skyrim, they might want to have a look at ESO too - I see this as very positive. Especially because ESO is not forcing people to group up with others, there is lots of soloable content in ESO.

Normally - when there is no winter break like currently - I don't have much time to play, but I put that on a schedule - 2 hours per week each are reserved for Fallout New Vegas, Oblivion and Skyrim - Fallout 4, ESO and EVE get the rest of my gaming time. I have played these single-player games for hundreds of hours already, but this way, I return on a regular basis to them.

I've invested so much time into ESO that I probably won't abandon it. However, it's going to be really hard to choose ESO over Skyrim (unless friends are asking to play ESO with me).

Skyrim is my favorite game of all time.

Skyrim was ok for me, I liked and like it, but I had actually much more fun in Oblivion - maybe that is why I like as well the ESO art style, it is more like Oblivion than Skyrim and if ZOS would give us spell-crafting like in Oblivion, this would be awesome.

Edit;: with this said, Skyrim without mods was not really good IMO - I use for example the ACE mod set, which is changing pretty much all perk trees - so I played a different Skyrim actually. And since I play the winter edition from Climates of Tamriel with Frostfall, it plays totally different, harsh icy conditions make it more of a survival game.

    @TX12001rwb17_ESO

I have no idea why you are tagging me here. Also I agree with @BuffaloSpaceman. I dont need a "remastered" version of a fairly new game of the series to milk some console players off their money. If they really want to make a Remaster, let it be a older game, Daggerfall/Morowind/Oblivion.But I prefer a new one, so we learn even more about the Elder Scrolls World, maybe seeing how Tamriel or Nirn overall has changed in a later Era etc.

    But to answer your question:
Im an elder scrolls fan because I love the series, its world, its atmosphere, its stories, the unique fantasy setting, everything.
    And Dunmer.
