Huh, good sorcs can cross 36k DPS. Find a stamina nightblade that crossed 29k DPS in PvE.

If a magicka sorc can pull that then you'll find a magicka NB or temp will pull very slightly higher... probably magicka dk too.

And the most important thing... in group play Sorc's have nowhere near as much utility / benefit to the group... they literally have one thing that buffs anybody else and that's a passive for a tiny 3% crit.

All other classes will synergise better with group play as things stand right now.

Don't get me wrong... sorcs can still pull reasonable dps and do all content... they just aren't that beneficial to group play if thats what the OP is aiming for.

Are those sorcs magicka or stamina though? If they're magicka, compare them to mageblades. If stamina, I want to see your video of a stam sorc pulling 36k dps.

I am talking about magicka sorcs. Magicka Nightblades and Magicka Sorcerers are pretty similar in terms of Trial DPS. But yeah, for utility Nightblades are better, but then utility is what you are after, nothing is better than Magicka Templars.
As for Stamina Sorcerers, they cross the DPS of Stamblades in the DB patch. A class based DoT works wonders.
