How to get a forum thread deleted?

I'm the recruiter for a PS4 guild. Recently our guild changed drastically (guild structure, leadership, content focus, number of members, etc). Since I can't edit the recruitment forums post, I'd like to have it deleted so a new post can be put up (one that's more accurate in describing our guild). How do I go about getting the old recruitment thread closed and/or deleted?

✭✭If you are the one who posted the original recruitment thread, you can edit it and remove all info, and change the title to "delete this", or just message an admin to delete it for you.
And then just create a new recruitment thread

✭✭✭✭✭Reporting the Post in question, or the Opening Post in the thread in question and asking for it to be deleted or rather locked would be your best step. Note, most threads are not deleted, just allowed to be pushed down the list. So, give them a good reason to delete the thread, and you do have a good reason to ask for the thread to be locked or deleted.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
