NO.. this game shouldn't be yet another gear grinder MMO.
The current gear cap is unchanged for four DLCs now which equals a full year. It is well about time the gear cap will be raised. I expect to get one with the next adventurezone coming. We need quite some space to gather the new mats for it.Slayer9292_ESO wrote: »The fact that a full set of crafted gear can easily require 1000-1500 materials (not including tempers). What I find silly is that in I play a level 1-50 char as soon as I hit 50 I'm going to be out leveled for all the quests in the silver and gold zones, if the cap was 500 I would be even more out leveled... and would be doing those quests "for fun" and no reward, not even gear.

Oh, and prepare for all the crying in the community, as it will come as always when change happens

Agreed. They better not mess with CP for at least 6 months! I'm making a new set of gold Champ 160 gear and it's very expensive. If they go and increase it to 180 in a few weeks I'll be livid!

Pro tip: You can almost be guaranteed that the CP cap will go up in the next update. They strongly hinted at it in an ESO Live. Why don't you just upgrade everything to purple and save those gold tempers for a few months?

I have a different but similar problem. I had three characters in the middle of Cadwell's Gold. All three jumped from around V10 to CP160. All their enemies jumped to CP160. However, I don't have anywhere near the materials to make CP160 (or even CP150) gear for them, so I'm worried they're going to be severely gimped if I take them out to do the content they were doing on Monday.
Hopefully, the CP I have will make up for gear deficiencies until I can get a bigger pile of endgame mats. Otherwise, they're going to take a little vacation.
