This might be the best thing they ever did for crafters!

Keep it up, Z. Bring on the bound-items bag, at least for wearables

Not to put too much of a damper on things, but implementing a much needed feature that most other MMOs have as standard two years too late and locking it behind a sub wall isn't exactly a triumph of game design / management.

For me nothing can ever give back the time lost to inventory juggling hell in this game over the past two years. But hey I guess it's progress of a sort. And it's probably worth at least a month of subs just to get all the junk out of my bank finally. I'm not a hoarder, I never bothered with mules as I like to actually play all my characters rather than have them standing around in banks.

After I logged in all my characters I dropped to 16/240 bank and could delete one mule who had nothing left on him.

There is nothing i want from crown store, so to me the 1.5 crowns monthly are meh...

But now with the crafting bag i finally feel my sub is worth it.

However, it makes *such* a huge difference that making it unavailable to non-ESO+ members is just plain mean. Fair enough, charge loads of money for it in the Crown Store but at least let all players have a way of getting it.

I don't normally feel strongly about this kind of thing but the bag makes the game so much nicer to play, I think everyone should have a method of using the feature.

But... it is available to everyone. :|

It's just that some people are opposed to paying the asking price for it.

Personally, I think it's worth every penny, and then some.

Which other MMO has unlimited crafting bags? And which MMO wouldn't put such a feature behind some sort of paywall?

add my thanks as well. One of the single most impacting changes to crafting since the game released! I was almost in chock when i logged in and opened my bags. They were so empty my first thought was something had gone wrong! The bags open up so many options with gear and managing it now that crafting almost feels like a new game.

Only negative I can find is that it should have happened sooner

All joking aside, I love this change.

Definitely the biggest thing for me with the new patch! Crafting bags are so awesome & convenient! Thanx ZOS! Well done!

I haven't had time to read the whole thread but with the craft bags removing my need to run mules as well as the 4 new character slots ... I am in Altaholic heaven :D

I am really liking the Dark Brotherhood DLC so far :D Kudos ZOS!

    Finally something worth subbing for!

I just *knew* a reason would come along eventually to justify why I've subbed all this time.

Thanks for the crafting bag ZOS... however, can we PLEASE get the option to SELL items from the Crafting Bag?!? Right now ANYTHING craft related instantly goes into the craft bag... if you remove it to your inventory with plans to sell later, guess what, within minutes it automatically goes right back into your Craft Bag. I find this extremely annoying because of the fact we cannot sell from the craft bag... so now I have to wait until I get to the banker, then go through and remove items I want to sell, then quickly sell them before the system decides to pull every craft mat back into the Craft Bag again.

They must add crafting bags in the crown store .

If not ..the game become a little pay to win..maybe even worse..something like "Sub to Win" - crafting bag.

Khajiit is most most grateful for the bags.

Now whenever little Spiny Tim is out and about levelling and he collects something useful then right away Santie can make use of it. Also if Santie she finds an apple or some old rags that she does not need then she can pass these to Spiny Tim.

Did my writs yesterday and I actually made a few trips to the bank out of habit, forgetting that the necessary items were already in my crafting bag.

Yes, I did that too, following the normal routine - but certain steps of it are no longer required due to the crafting bags. Before I had all the required food/beverage items pre-crafted in the bank for example, because I had anyway to retrieve the alchemy and enchanting extra mats from the bank - now, where this is automatically taken from the crafting bag, this step is no longer required and I craft food/beverage now only when I need them just in time. That freed bank space as well.

Same at the end of my routine - my last step was always to go to the bank and drop all crafting mats into it., so that my other characters can use them too. As well a step, which is no longer required, not even if I buy some new resources from guild stores, those are as well right in my crafting bag, after I retrieved them from mail.

But that is not the only thing, ZOS has improved - I like for example the new character selection screen a lot - especially because my smaller female characters are no longer stretched, but in correct proportion - looks so much better. And I do no longer have to look at the distorted night mother's embrace set, because the selection screen now shows costumes instead. I find it as well helpful to see on the selection screen, which mounts and pets are selected and if I have a personality active.

Furthermore visual improvements with shoulder pieces - some do still float away from the body, but a lot, really a lot, fit now quite well to the associated chest pieces of the same set. This was just rarely the case before. Even a lot more shoulder pads fit with mix and match approaches than before. This makes armor so much better looking - I really appreciate that.

Some armor sets, where it was hardly recognizable if a female or male is wearing them have improved as well - unfortunately not the night mother's embrace set, that one is still bulky and ugly on a female character, and a nightmare on the backside, where it bulges out and is clipping with anything you wear on your back - blades, bows and staves. I hope, this will be fixed as well some day. There are improvements to a lot of sets and costumes - and I appreciate that a lot as well.

So overall I feel, that ZOS is trying to make things better for us - and that is worth a continued subscription to me. I prefer a subscription model, where I have access to all DLCs, if I use them or not, is another thing, but I can have a look and try them out at least. All of them have fantastic artistic quality as far as the landscaping and architecture goes. If ZOS continues like this, it is worth that I recommend ESO to my role play friends, who avoid ESO as if it would infect with small pox. But it has changed to the better and I really think, it will further improve - so I will try to get them in and see for themselves.

In short - good job, ZOS, keep up the good work.

Subscription is not even expensive at all - if you substract the value of the crowns you get from a 6-months subscription, what you pay extra for the crafting bag and DLC access is just about 1.50€/month. And the crowns you get, you can spend on shiny extras and not on DLCs, because you have DLC access anyway. I mean 11€/month in average with a 6-months subscription, that is the cost of having a decent burger with fries, salad and a soft drink - anyone should be able to afford that.

Can you think of something, what you would like to buy from the crown store?- Maybe ZOS just needs an idea of what to provide to make your crowns worthwhile as well.
