I'd honestly missed this. You've got a link somewhere?

We've adjusted our automatic anti-cheat systems to focus specifically on the cheats we've seen in the last few days, in addition to launching investigations on specific players. We've permanently banned 43 players in the last 24 hours who were found to be cheating. We don't take cheating lightly, and will continue to ban those who are found to be cheating. We'll be going back through game logs to identify players who were violating our anti-cheating policies in the hours before we performed the automatic cheat detection adjustment.
In addition, we're working on a number of fixes and improvements to prevent this kind of behavior from happening in ESO in the future. We'll provide more specific details about this tomorrow.
We want to thank everyone who has helped us identify those who would ruin your game experience by cheating, and the means by which they were doing so.
Very nice. Thanks.

That's what they tell you to cover the fact that they ruined their own servers in you-know-which patch.nimander99 wrote: »Its the constant use of spells, abilities, traits, and Champion Point calculations that cause the lag my friend. The servers were never meant to compute so many mechanics plus the visuals which is why we've seen a constant reduction in lasting spell effects like Mage Light for example.

and whats witht the fact, that you have no nearly no lag in no cp campaigns, even with all poplocked?
FPS drop in big battles yes, but ping is constantly under 200
@Duiwel
did you ever try out azura?
Ask anyone that played on Azura pre TG and after it.
The lag change is real.
Azura is lag free, TF became like old Azura.
Its quite funny, try to explain it to me, why thats the case?
Let me get to the arguments you will use:
Population: Azura is poplocked often, still no lag. TF is even laggy if not poplocked.
Next will probably be something about the skill level thats so different between those 2 servers... right... TF must be more skillfull cos it has cp, cos its so hard to get to cp cap... (yeah i know alot people that are cp capped in azura, surprise)
Next one: no ball groups in azura: wait, there are, and even some groups coming over from TF some times, still no lag
Less zergs: get real, pvp is zergy as hell, doesnt matter the camp.
No give me one point what the big difference between TF and Azura is: why TF is laggy as ***, and Azura isnt.
It isnt the obvious no cp? then what is it?

No.
Lag switches work in games with a peer to peer network architecture. One of the players is selected by the game as the host for the match. At that point if that player decides to cut their connection briefly (using a lag switch), they can still interact with the match at the exclusion of other players.
ESO uses a dedicated server architecture. No player is ever in a position of being the host for Cyrodiil. All a lag switch would do is interfere with their ability to play.
