Well, we have access to Coldharbour and some Oblivion pockets in the game already, and we know we are getting Mephala's Realm eventually... So we are not limited to Tamriel. Or to the Mundus, for that matter.
But if you hope ESO to expand beyond Tamriel and to the rest of Nirn... I think it could take a long time for that to happen with the DLC release rate at 4 per year.

That's no longer going to be the case as they're now locking base game "new features" behind a subscription so as of the DB update, it'll be ESO:Limited

Before anyone starts to panic, this forum user is talking about the "crafting bags". There is an ongoing discussion about weather they should be offered as an exclusive ESO+ perk or not. The crafting bags are a nearly unlimited storage for crafting materials, and there are some people who believe they are essential instead of mere convenience because the inventory has always been very limited, while others believe that they are not really essential since we played for two years without them and that people should learn to menage their inventories and stop hoarding if they don't want to subscribe.

Actually thats not at all what I am talking about I have, had and always will have a subscription to ESO so the crafting bag topic is mute for me.

@Abeille
As described by ZOS it's a feature update among many in the DB update where ZOS has decided not to allow this feature to apply and locked it behind a subscription. While the rest of your comment doesn't apply to me, on topic to the OP they are asking about the use of the word "unlimited".
As such the original description from ZOS of what unlimited means, it's described as all base game feature updates being free and absent of a subscription. As of DB, by ZOS' definition of unlimited, it changes to "limited"
Trying to keep this on topic as it's the actual response based on the TU change.

The OP asked if we are "limited to Tamriel". The subject of the thread is if we are not going anywhere else other than Tamriel, even if other people posted snark comments that didn't have much to do with the original post. This is the actual topic, as I understood it, if either we are limited to Tamriel or not.
The problem is your choice of words. You called it a "base game new feature" without specifying what it is, and that can cause people to panic and think it is actually some big base game change that won't be applied to them (which is a matter up to debate, since some people think the crafting bags fit that description while others do not). I merely explained what you were talking about and what the discussion was about it since you did not. Just trying to avoid having people freaking out here, since they are already freaking out everywhere else. It is like if I went in a thread with someone asking about the Veteran Ranks removal and said "Yep lvl 50 will be the highest level" without specifying that we will still get the VR1-VR16 attributes and skill points as normal.
Vvardenfell, where is Vvardenfell ?
