I stumbled across this in that other thread about poisons. It deserves to be yelled to the mountaintops for all of ZOS to hear!
As I have said before, the positive traits should apply positive effects when you use them in poisons. Why is it we have to avoid negative traits when making potions, but we need to embrace positive traits when making poisons?
I want to know why poisons don't demand that you match up negative effects and avoid positive matches, the opposite of how potions work.
Poison making in its current form has no give and take. No reason to favor negative, toxic effects over positive, healthy ones. The poison making system needs to make negative effect plants as desirable as positive effect plants are in potion making, not just increase the desirability of positive effect ones.
