If Matt is ok with doing an interview he should be ok with people talking about it.

No idea but I made a comment in another post relating to the same article and my post has been deleted but no moderation email received to say why.

They dont want their sellout business models to be discussed by their players...player retention is going to be an issue in this game when all these newbies start getting closer to endgame.

They have gotten over the top strict anymore. To the point that it is hard to tell what you can or cannot post about,or comment on. It's kinda scary now. What if we disagree and state it and suddenly our comment is removed,or we get in more severe trouble without understanding exactly what their rules are.

Just be aware opening a thread discussing moderation is cause for a thread to be locked as well, so this will be closed eventually.

My guess would be it was closed because of the negative comments and close the line comments about a developer. Most threads about articles like that tend to cross the line eventually, could be the posts which caused the lock were deleted as well.

Just because, that seems to be the only reason they need anyone. Even if a post breaks the rules as long as they promote or praise ESO in the process they overlook that it breaks a rule. It's getting to be very biased on here.

Commenting on mod action is prohibited.
This is their forums , and freedom of speech is not guaranteed. this is a business forum. If they don't like what you say, they can take action against you, your posts, and discussions.
If you want the freedom to say what you want... go to redit, or some other forum. This is their property. Your characters and account are on lease. You own nothing, and even posting here can cause monetary loss if not favorable; monetary loss of which you may be held accountable for.

Actually there is another thread about this and the mods commented saying that it would be left up for discussion.Just not for exact instances.

I honestly feel like Zenimax is a fraud. I've been playing this game since beta days, and play it on 2 platforms.

And honestly, when I pause for a minute and really look at it? It really ISN'T a MMORPG. I suppose the devs were right in calling it an "online RPG". Because if Blizzard for example pulled half te stuff Zenimax has, they'd be the joke of the Internet. Everyone from IGN to Kotaku would be shaming them. How the hell you have a MMO without a damn text chat on 1 of the platforms of this game? Are you kidding me? And it's what, the middle of May 2016? Really?

And to sit there talking Big Willy, talking about how there's millions of players joining up to play. Yeah. Okay. You have millions of players who really don't know what they're getting themselves into, and have no idea the RNG cesspool they're about to go diving into. I feel like this game is catching up to Destiny with it's RNG bs, and that's a damn shame.

Oh, and don't get me started on those who picked up this game expecting to find solid PVP. Lmao. Raw and unfiltered nightmare fuel awaits them with everything ranging from class unbalance, to immense lag and frame rate drops. Lol.

Because this is their home. They can lock anything they feel crosses the line. They haven't violated your freedom of speech just because they locked a thread. They locked it because they didn't like what was said, so they showed them the door.

All of which is fine.
However,if you are going to run a public website with forums,you need to be consistent with your moderation.Across the board. Dont pick and choose who you want to get this day or the next. Make sure you are even in your actions against people.If one cant comment in a certain manner,do not allow others to remain after having done the same or worse.
