So I'm in the Outlaw place and have put all my money from ill-gotten gains in the bank, but I still have a 50 gold bounty I'm too cheap to pay off... What happens if I go out and get manhandled by a guard with zero gold on me?

They kill you over and over again until you pay the bounty or it decays away. You can't get it wiped by getting killed, if that's what you were wondering.

I believe the bounty also increases when you are killed? Not sure. I always hide somewhere and take a break when that happens. If you're in a town try to sneak out near the docks so you can swim out a bit if the guards start coming for you.

50 gold bounty decays after a few minutes. You can go and pick flowers in an area where there are no guards, or you can go IRL and make yourself a warm cup of delicious cocoa - by the time you are done, the bounty has probably worn off too.

Guards will kill you over and over, if you walk into a town with a 50g bounty and 0g on you. The armor repair cost will be more expensive than actually paying the bounty ^^
