While the performance work is appreciated (if albeit much slower than we'd all like), as you work to make changes to skills and calculations to reduce the strain on the servers, can you also work to increase the reliability of ground targeted abilities in poor performing battles? Templars would like to be able to get shards to land (particularly since you made it our only CC that can go through block), DKs would like to drop eruption/cinder storm, sorcs would like to drop the new morph of their mines, NB would like to ... well, who cares, all of their abilities work.
These skills likely work fine for you on your test servers, and they work fine on Live when there's no lag, but when performance takes a nose dive, most knowledgeable players just stop using these skills because they won't land.
