I would love to see spectral daggers or chakrams for magicka builds.. Something melee range that does magicka or elemental damage, with two slots not just one.
If you want spears, use a Templar.
Edit: because my phone is out of control tonight.

Then make a thread about that . Maybe role players want to hold a spear in their characters hand . Maybe the crafting community would like to make money off new weapon styles . No need to shut down someone's request just because you think something else .

Apologies @Roehamad_Ali , I forgot I'm on the ESO forums.. Which means I have to add a disclaimer under EVERYTHING I say.
Disclaimer: nice idea but I'd prefer the collection of magicka weapons to at least catch up to stamina first.
Again, sorry for not sprinkling enough fairy dust on my comment, I'd never want to shut anyone down on these forums for voicing ideas on making the game more interesting.

I think spears would be a nice new weapon skill line for this game. It's a weapon that fits the style and immersion well.

Chakrams are both used for physical and magical combat.
Spears are meant to poke. But any trained combatant should know that "weapon of opportunity" mean that they can kill you with a book, or they can kill you with the hilt of a sword, or the middle of a spear, or the buttstock of a rifle ...... XD ..... Just thought id put my two cents in
Do you really care about realism in this game?dodgehopper_ESO wrote: »Spears are meant to poke. I agree, I just don't like the way in video games (or movies) that these unusual animations end up dominating the action, and don't look particularly realistic as a result. The whole point of a spear is to keep your opponent at a distance, and gives you a great way to target a wide array of weak spots on your opponent in a very short period of time (due to the angles involved, it is effortless to go from head to leg, and anything in between). The obvious approach of someone with a shorter weapon will be to close the gap if they must, but there is obvious risk involved in that. I'm also not as big a fan of seeing characters do wushu attacks while they have a perfectly good weapon they can attack with: Steel is better than a foot. This doesn't mean that takedowns using a sweep of the leg an unbalancing attack or hip flip while locked with an opponent are unrealistic. The point is simply that these kinds of things have a right timing. If you have a spear you would rather not get in a clinch, and you have a weapon that's very good at keeping opponents at bay. (also the longspear often had a shield wall or spear wall making it very difficult to break past, but that's another issue entirely that can't be replicated in the game).
You can NEVER have enough options!mistermutiny89 wrote: »Stamina has enough weapons at the moment.
