Need Some Help Understanding Champ Points on New Characters when They Reach Point

Okay, so with already v16 characters, nothing really changes with the vet rank removals except cosmetic appearances, like champ 160=v16. I do believe that champion points still transfer to the other characters. What I want to know is if I get a newer character to level 50, will they automatically be the rank of Champion points already there, or will they still be champ rank 10?

✭✭✭✭✭Champion points are account wide. So if you already have 160 cp, your new characters will go directly from Lv 49 to V16.
