I started back at PC launch, am on PS4 now, and have a master woodworker/blacksmith/clothier, but I've never leveled alchemy or provisioning before and I'm trying to get those worked on with a new character, looking forward to the addition of poisons to alchemy with dark brotherhood (this will be on a stamina dragonknight, so yay, more green slime to fling around!).

I have limited funds and time, so I'm trying to find the most efficient and inexpensive way to grind out alchemy. Gave myself a real headache trying to even spot plants around vulkhel guard tonight for the crafting certification, I'll definitely be putting a point into the glowing resource node passive for alchemy as soon as I can to avoid that frustration in the future.

Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS
Bastet - Khajiit Templar - Healer
Leonin - Khajiit Warden - Tank

Getting keen eye is a good idea. Just harvest everything, including all the mushrooms and plants others pass by. Also harvest all the waters you find. Leveling is as simple as making potions. Save plants like columbine and bugloss, as those are highly valued for end game potions. Even trash potions like Ravage Health will level alchemy. Add a skill point to reagents at every 10th level so you can make the highest possible potion level. If you have enough waters and plants, this craft can be leveled to 50 in an hour or less. The trash potions can be sold to NPC vendors.

Ourorboros gives good advice. The key to leveling it quickly making the highest potion you can at all times.

This forum post will help you learn the traits very efficiently
