I have a magicka and a stamina character for each class, but I generally like to play my Magicka characters better (except for DK, I prefer to play my Stamina DK over my Magicka DK).

I don't know why. Maybe I am just bad at Stamina builds.

I have both, I can attempt to play Magicka, but my way of thinking and play style gels a lot better with Stamina. No clue why. At least I can say I tired.

Not necessarily true. They fill a role that is just as valuable as magicka.

I prefer stamina but play both. Magicka feels too slow and clumsy to me, stamina is more in the thick of it actively utilising both offense and defense.

Not clear. For pvp magblade all the way but for pve whatever is best don´t care.

My magplar is newer to me then my stamblade so it's more fun right now. Next toon will be a MagSorc, then a Stam DK to round things out.

Stambuild. For some reason, the skill set that accompanies stam builds just clicks for me.

I'm working on a Mag-based Dragon Knight right now, simply to learn different game play. I've never really played with a destro staff before.

But I still come back to my Stamplar and everything just makes sense.

Just about every game I have played magic. I think the skills and abilities look much cooler. Also find that generally magic chars can do the same thing stamina ones can do, this game is a little different in that aspect. But generally I like being a healer. I have a certain play style that I try to achieve sort of a battle mage conjurer. I like being able to take massive damage so I could tank while being able to provide back up heals or be the primary healer, when needed. I also like being able to have pets that can help to distract some enemies while I do something else. So far I have enjoyed my sorc due to the pet summon being able to heal and take massive incoming damage, via popping a shield when I need it.

That is generally why I play magicka. Plus I find in this game stamina is very hard to manage with resources unless you are a Templar or have one that uses repentance.

Depends. For raids it's whatever I'm getting the most dps out of. Outside of that it depends on what mood I am in.

I like both, I use to be an only magicka player cause in 2014 I only played with sorcs I think my DK was level 22 in December 2015 still...

There are just more options and variety on magica builds. Most stam builds feel the same.....except for the one or two class specific skills that actually have stam morphs and are good enough to use. I do not and will never play a nightblade, but they seem to be the only class that is geared toward a viable stam option. Even stam DKs seem to be lacking in class skill options. Stam sorc was my first v16 and they are a blast to play but they are just so underpowered it seems like I am taking a step (or several steps) backwards when I go from my Temp to my Stam sorc

I love my magica Templar. They may not be the best at any one thing anymore but they are so damn versatile it is hard to get myself to play my other characters. Although, I have started to level up my stamplar so I will see how I like endgame content with her once DB drops.

As far as ESO goes, Stamina.
I'm normally a magic fanatic in RPGs but ESO's magic system doesn't do it for me whereas stamina I just find to be much more fun.

Add to that all the poison and disease changes coming in DB and I am all set.
Nothing can match my undying love for poison, except my devotion to Nocturnal.

I really like both, but having changed my main NB over from Stam and never having regretted it (that doesn't mean I don't miss him occasionally, *sniff*) I guess I have to say Magicka. I changed for the level of utility granted in both PvE and PvP. Being able to go from full DPS to a great level of degrees of support is what makes me not regret it.

Magicka because most class skills are magicka, and and I like using class skills over weapon skills, being magicka I can survive longer than stamina in pve, from my experience.

Pvp I prefer stamina dk.

I want to say I play both, but actually I have only 2 stamina characters and 4 magicka. I like to play tanks and healers mostly and those are my 4 magicka, 2 pure DPS are stamina. I could make a stamina tank, but I feel like there's no utility that way the skill selection is very limited and weapon restricted which is the thing that sucks about this game.

Stamina usually means melee in most games and I'm just not a melee type of person. I get all turned around and facing the wrong way, get dizzy and all sorts of bad things happen. I'm not coordinated enough.

Personally I never liked playing traditional skirt wearing, staff wielding mages. I usually opt for a ranger/archer playstyle but ZOS really didnt put it on par with other options. So, stamblade it is.
