What would be the point of playing it then? just to learn about PvP? ... there would be NO progression in that campaign at ALL... and very few people would stick around or even take part of it because of no xp ...not to mention they are missing out on bar swapping ... game play is a lot different once you get to be able to bar swap..

seriously this question. At lvl 10 you receive a letter telling you of cryo. At lvl 10 you are actually able to enter cryo. From lvl 10 to 49 you do not earn CP ( yes if this is not your first character you have access to CP). Non Vet campaign will continue to exist and more than likely it will be non-cp if it isn't already.

Nice thats great news for sure. Now can @ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_BrianWheeler figure out and fix the Keep owner ship bug that keeps black boot and blood mane constantly in "booty" and "duckface kiilers" hands .

Come db azuras and black water will essentially be the same thing. I don't get what people are debating about really..both will be a no cp campaign and there's no vet ranks , so what's the debate about? Not like a lvl 10 will be fighting a vet 16 with no cp. Now there will be two no cp campaigns that function the same way with the removal of vet ranks

@ZOS_BrianWheeler While we have your attention, can we talk about the XP changes to the Alliance war? In the DB patch, you will be getting a potentially large "XP tick" along with your standard Defensive tick after keep battles.

Normally, this would not be a problem but in BwB, it is way too easy to outlevel your gear. Wearing Gear that is underleveled by even 4 levels decreases your weapon/spell damage but almost 1000.

This change to XP brings TWO negative side effects to the BwB server.

People will level out of BwB much faster for participating in keep battles.
We will have to recraft gear even faster as gear gets pretty useless in BwB when its underleveled.

Is there any way you could tone down the gear scaling on BwB? We used to be able to wear any level gear. I would like to see any gear scale to VR15 in BWB and possibly a way to opt out of the XP ticks.

BWB has a great and vibrant community and these changes would go a long way.

if they killed azuras, the most populated campaign for the hell of it why save redundant campaigns that will no longer have a purpose. The new azuras is no cp and i doubt theres enough of a population to fill 1 campaign with the ppl who want no champ points so why have 2 around?

BwB and Azura's are completely different. Both have loyal players, don't mix the two up.

The big difference I currently see with BWB & Azura's is that in BWB you NEVER see meteor ults because to get Mage Guild skill tree to 10 requires more lorebooks than are in the first set of lands... you need to progress to Cadwell's silver lands to get enough lorebooks to reach Mage Guild 10.

Other differences are that only a small amount of players will have high level skills like Prox Det, Bolt Escape, Conjured Ward, Radiant Oppression, etc... sure some players will have these skills but not whole groups of players.

Much thanks to ZOS for keeping BWB. I have leveled 4 Alts from 10 to 50 in there & still have 2 ults playing there with my PVP Guild that only does BWB. Cheers ZOS!

So when Dark Brotherhood is released, BwB is going to be Lv10 - Lv49, while Azura is Lv10 - Lv50, both with no CP? The only real differences will be Meteor and Monster Helm sets and fleshed-out skill trees?

Idk what to think. I got so frustrated re-rolling for BwB. Especially with the changes to Battle Leveling that came out with Orsinium, where you needed new gear every 5 seconds (which even being a 9 trait master crafter, I loathe.) It seemed like just when I got my characters where I liked them, boom, I was vetting out. I am also out of character slots. I know those are being added to the crown store. I also want a crafting bag, but having to suffer through 10% more experience in BwB really hurts.

And a word about experience. A big part of the problem I have with BwB is that is encourages you to play in the most miserable possible ways, where restrict what you're willing to do to keep defense and player killing. With the shadow of vetting out looms over you, killing guards is something to avoid at all costs. I am reading with DB that now keep defense will also have an XP tick. XP is seriously is most hateful part of BwB.

I would much prefer they have a campaign that plays like BwB, but where you don't have to suffer from the imminent threat of vetting out. It discourages a normal, rational approach to AvA gameplay, where you instead focus on trolling and many people as possible while avoiding XP. It also discourages people from subscribing to ESO Plus. I love BwB, the only reason I play ESO is BwB, but I vetted out my last char in my last slot right before TG came out, and I have barely played since then.
