Poisons- How to Mitigate?

When looking at the Poisons that will be introduced in the next DLC, it seems that there are a few concerns that have been coming up, mostly with how powerful they are.

I know that some changes have been made, but one of the questions is how they can be mitigated in game play. I understand that one of the ways this is being handled with is the idea of number of casts and the number of stored poisons. Though a question comes into play, does it cast every 10 seconds with both light and heavy attacks whether you are in battle or not? Lots of people randomly fire light and heavy attack out of battle, because it is fun and we all like to show off our mostly awesome weapons and occasionally create "fireworks".

Poison item stacks, lets say you are in Cryodil and have been fighting a long while and you have 2 stacks of the same poison and you run out of one stack (yes I know that this would be a very very long time in battle, but really not out of the question since in the 1st day of a campaign I have seen people with over 300k standing points and it not even been a full day yet (really brings in some major questions about how they are getting all of those points, but that is not the main point of this post) does the poisons automatically go to the next stack of same poisons or do you run out until repicked? If you have a different kind of poison in your bag does it go to that?

Also I can not find a definitive answer to this, but can you put poisons on only 1 bar or different poisons on different bars? If I have a bow and and staff and only want poisons on the bow is this doable right now?

I have looked through the many current known poisons and potions and healing buffs and debuffs, purify and cleanses, and am trying to find a mitigation or a way that in PvP specifically that there is any way to counter poisons, other than not getting hit (which lets be honest is not really going to happen, if they are put on bows and staffs). It looks like with the power that poisons have that there is no reason to use an enchantment on a weapon again in PvP unless you are out of poisons. And with you being able to buy them from the Crown Store and Guild Merchants you could never run out if you have enough money.

Is it possible to create a potion that clears and gives you a poison immunity for a certain amount of time? Or possibly a Glyph that can have a chance to create a poison immunity/ cleanse? My biggest concern with poisons is that right now there does not seem to be a counter to them..........

And yes I know that this is a long post. But can we just admit that Columbine should be a purple/gold ingredient at this point and get it reclassified? It seems to be in all the top potions and poisons and really looks like it will just be increasing in value with the DB patch...

Sorry if I missed some of the answers elsewhere community... B)

Thanks for the thoughts community....

Hopefully ZOS will take some of our suggestions in other threads here and poisons will be put as counterparts to and on par with potions.

In that case you wont have to find any unreasonably incredible mystical ways to counter or mitigate them. The poisons will still be highly valuable and useful, but no more so than food and potions are now.

I agree, but right now I don't see anyway to do that. In PvE it is questionable its uses verses cost, but in PvP, I am worried about what will be needed to be competitive if you choose to not be a poison user........

It absolutely will be needed to be competitive. They also just nerfed the best purge in the game, Purifying Ritual, from 5 purges to 2. So there is almost no way to mitigate these aside from spamming purge. -_-

Honestly I am not happy about that.
