PTS CP

I would like to suggest to increase the 300 cp to 501 in PTS since the majority of the PTS tester base has exceeded this value long time ago. It is ridiculous to hold back majority of the testers just because you might get a average Joe come in to PTS to see what it's about.

What does rest of you guys think?

yeah no doubt 501 would be the right call.

    Agree.

Can't imagine why they restrict it to 300.

There is a reason they set it 300 cp. They want us to experience the game from the perspective of an average player who is not maxed out on CP

300 is the current average, and I see a lot of more lower cp than you'd think on the PTS in certain zones.

This is PTS, average players stay in the live servers. Majority of those who come in to PTS, are theory crafters, or experienced players with few exceptions that want to see what to change in their builds. So to limit our cp to 300 is outdated im afraid.

Perhaps the average CP is 300.
So they want to test the effect it will have for the bulk of the players.
    Rather than just a few.

You are at the end of the day testing for ZOS benefit.....not yours.

    THIS!!!
CP cap is set to 300 so ZOS can see how an "average" player will fare in their new content. If the best raidguilds would get 501 CPs, all legendary gear etc then vSO would be smashed too early and we'd have 0 indication as to how the more "general userbase" will adapt to the content.

It's *** for testing as a higher-tier player, but it's logical in terms of who ZOS want their content to reach.

I disagree with you. Most of players in PTS have 300+ CP. The point of PTS is not to test for your average Joe experience, but to test and report bugs. Again, we are talking about PTS, 501 cp is already on live servers, why don't we do the same thing for the PTS?

I understand that however the majority of PTS testers are above the CP max value. Once again, PTS has more experienced players testing then average players
