Wrecking Blow Nerf Solves Nothing

The changes to uppercut will force every 2h player to choose between performing in pve (wrecking blow) or pvp (dizzying swing).

Uppercut abusers will switch to dizzying swing for the cc, but those of us that play both pvp and pve will be at a disadvantage at one of our realms, unless we respec all the time, which is annoying.

Please remove the changes and put wrecking blow back to what it is on live.

Get rid of the cc on dizzying blow as well. That way wb will be best for both pve and pvp as before. Problem solved.

WB didn't get nerfed enough.. Remove the cc from both morphs and then it'll be fine.

i use it as as it is and WB is honnestly a bit too strong. Choosing between empower OR CC is a fair trade.

It does deal insane damage without empower as well, did this 'trade' fixed animation cancelling?

- Ranged
- Hard CC
- Major Empower
- Super effective at execution range with executioner slotted

All in 1 button click, and you complain about being nerfed? rolf

Its easy to counter though....Defensive Rune, Daedric Mines, Volcanic Rune, Javelin, Destro Reach, Magnum Shot...so many counters...

The only classes really spamming this skill was Stam Sorc and Stam DK because they don't have anything else...Templars have Jabs, and Nightblades have Suprise Attack...DK don't have a Stma Whip, and Stam Sorcs literally have nothing else.

if anything this just makes Stam Sorc weaker then it already was....just saying

Worst excuse ever. And no, its no easy to counter if you play agiasnt someone who knows what is doing, good players know how to land WB properly. Plus with the lag on this game you can be behind him and out of range and still get hit by WB, we all suffered the 28mts range-360angle WB's, and we all know that they won't fix that, so we have to accept it as an standard feature of WB lol

Do stam sorcs need an spammeable dps skill? yes, but that dosn't justify WB being overpowered as ***. You can still use any morph of uppercut as an spamable dps skill, nothing changed there

I have to choose with my talons and whip on the morph. I run the skoria set so i want to run burning in PVE but i like choking much better in PVP cause i use bloodspawn. So i have to choose between morphs the too. Also the same with my whip, one morph is better for PVE and one is better for PVP. Sometimes you have to make a choose.

Poison arrow or venom arrow, Crushing shock or Force pulse, etc etc.

WB needed a nerf badly, id prefer to have the range reduced, but having the cc removed from one morph is atleast better then nothing. The cc was acting wierd anyway

You can still use WB and hit the huge numbers. Just you dont get CC which is not that useful in PvE anyway.

Ah VMA is whole different moster in itself for stam builds lol =X I was considering only group content in which a good healer and optimised group is present sorry!

Try heavy/steeltornado and ignore smaller mobs ^^

You guys dont get it. They dont want to counter. Its much easier just to complain on the forums and get the devs to nerf things for you. That way you dont have to learn to play. The people who were whining about wrecking blow will whine about something else now. Because for them if they get beat its not because they should learn the game. Its because its unfair so and so has this skill and I dont.

This sums it up nicely, wrecking blow was true to it's name as it was literally an OP CC damage dealer.

Still I agree with the OP that this doesn't solve much since the CC is really the problem, ZoS solved nothing with their "nerf" and I use that lightly. They only turned it into a choice.

On the plus side it means it doesn't do any more bonus damage.

I like this change. The CC was the problem with Wrecking Blow because often times the CC would go off delayed and you'd already be smacked with the second, empowered, Wrecking Blow before you even had reaction time. Now that Dizzying Swing has the CC on it, with no Empower, it gives a bit of time for players to react. Of course WB defenders will come and deny that. I used the skill often enough myself as well to know how it worked.

I think the balance they made between the two morphs was a perfect decision.

I understand PvE players are not happy about this change, but, honestly, it had to be done.

I switched off WB a while back because honestly there are better ways. I switched to dual wield and am seeing better results. Fact is now you guys will whine about something else. Its always the skill is OP and not maybe I should learn to play. So whats the next "OP" skill you guys will be taking aim at?

Lol WB was a garbage ability, and it was so easy to kill someone spamming it. My stam sorc used flurry before the update, it's going to use it afterwards as well. The only class I used WB on was my stam DK, and that's because I could spam talons all day.
