That's the thing though you have a small percent of sorcs that can actually play the class and the. You have the other 98% that rolled it because of shield stack and overload they don't have a real feel for the class.The-Baconator wrote: »Most over-hyped change on PTS. Impressive dps for sure but there's only 3 sorc skills in these parses.
5.4 - 5.6k dps from Liquid Lightning (small ground aoe)
2.2 - 2.8k dps from Mages Wrath (execute below 20%)
1.7 - 3.1k dps from Crystal Frags (when procced)
What makes sorcs standout from other magicka classes?
Does it really come down to these three skills?

Did you really think a class spec should be able to provide you with tank, dps, and mobility? Most class specs only give you one of those, a few gave you 2 of those. No one should have all 3

So you see this is the kind of information a knee jerker reroll the new fotm class/spec is making decisions by....
- sorcs have less health than other classes? Because thats how you built your sorc, off a guide on the net. No wonder you know so little about the class
- making all our (sorc) shields only 6 seconds? Other classes already had 6 second shields...
- he knows hes mobile tho...

I rerolled to stam nb a while ago, like 1 year ago almost, when they nerfed the only thing that made soloing sorc in cyrodiil viable, streak.
I see a lot of people poo-pooing on Stam Sorcs, totally ignoring the large buffs to heavy armor + the addition of poisons. I have a sneaky suspicion that once people get a feel for what it's like to be able to play that particular combo without the crutch (and yes, it was a crutch) of the current Wrecking Blow, that some tunes will be changing. I mean seriously, there isn't a class in the game that will be able to outrun you outside of NB escaping with a cloak or teleport (and sometimes not even then), and you'll be able to use magicka/stamina ravage + slow poisons on top of being nigh unkillable.
. Sorcerers been OP since day 1 in BETA, glasscannon builds with 40k health where 20k of that health is uncritable and recastable with 2 clicks (hardened ward and harness magicka).
