Welcome to BwB. Not having Ideal stats and very limited skill points is what makes this campaign unique. Thats how we all play. You cant use that as an excuse not to duel here. I bring all my characters in at lvl 10. I lvl them up in Bwb all the way to vet and then re-roll. Playing with 15 skill points and not enough skills to even fill 2 bars is part of the fun! I wish you would have dueled sora...would have been great to watch the video of you wrecking him lol.

EP crowned early a.m. pacific time . Around 2 a.m. or so. A few hours later Rak crowned. EP put up some pretty good resistance.

Rak crowned a few hours ago during the day. Nice to see a DC emp lol been a while. AD has been holding 3 bars of population to DC/EP's 1-2 during peak hours and even a lot of the time during off hours for weeks now.

AD Zergs the map to death with the highest population hands down, DC holds it's own, EP sometimes does very well & sometimes very poorly.

All in all EP needs the most help.

EP in 2nd and from the looks of it, the campaign will end with EP in 2nd (even with the influx of EP w/ Sypher's event).

This may seem that way, but most AD players are online during normal "prime time" hours because most members of the main PVP guilds have fairly normal schedules according to societal standards. Last night when Maia emp'd, the only "main" group that was on (besides the occasional random pug) was my 8-person group... so that against Maia's "10 person group" outnumbered us. Congrats Maia & Rak for the emps, regardless of any faction, it is still a feat to be celebrated.

I feel that it is easier to say that AD zergs than to understand that the main PVP guilds communicate effectively with each other to help and support. Opposed to our numbers being spread and screaming in zone chat, we work to collaborate on our various offenses and defenses. However, this doesn't undermine the fact that AD only "appears" to be "zerging" because, again, we normally are on regular schedules. I don't know how many times our "zergs" disbanded because we all had work in the morning and kids to put to bed.

As for the population bars in game, I'd like to have a true explanation to the algorithms and player numbers used to fully dictate that a team has a low/medium/ or high population. There are plenty of times where it says we have a medium population and I have no idea where the hell people are.

@W0lf_z13 , so funny thing now that you mention that AFK at transit thing. During a DC take of Nikel within the last couple days I had to go AFK and had stealthed up on the second floor. I came back to several DC surrounding me and dancing/playing flute/drums. I danced for a second and then the big group came up and... RIP.

i was gettin killed left and right yesterday lol .... still trying to learn how to play as a stam user .... coming from mainly playing magicka... its SUCH a HUGE difference of play style

Heh, I assume you mean at Glade...yeah. My wife is pregnant, so sometimes RL gets in the way. This can be inconvenient when I'm trying to lead a 7-man defense of an enemy trikeep!

If the char is still low in alliance rank, don't worry. Stam changes majorly once you get vigor.

In regards to the topic of AD zerging. I'm aware that many of the AD guilds have good communication among each other & the Night Blader guild in particular does some pretty impressive things when it comes to tactical moves like flagging every DC keep simultaneously, etc, however this does not take away from the fact that AD often zergs the map to death & often wins based on numbers alone.

DC communicates very well among each other as well, but when there is 2-4 AD for every 1 DC, the difference in numbers is obvious. In regards to the comment about work/family/social norms. AD often has multiple zergs running at 1-4am EST while DC cannot even put together a full group/zerg. It's pretty silly to claim that AD groups/zergs often must split up due to needing to tend to their children/work/RL yet other factions must not.

The numbers weight heavily in AD's favor as seen by simply checking the bars of population. This week wasn't so bad though as I noticed quite a few AD went to EP (hopefully not just for Sypher's event).

With population numbers fairly even the score remained fairly even & it was an enjoyable week for PvP.

The flag everything-at-once guild is a different one. Night Blader usually only flags one, but then we accidentally take it (see: Glade yesterday).

I'm just going to mention one thing, as you've stated you've only been playing for a couple months. While AD has been fairly zergy for 2 of the last 3 campaigns (where are we this week though?), these things move in cycles. Like Defialed said, the pendulum always swings eventually.

At the moment, pop seems to run AD>DC>EP during the past 3 months (again, using that sample since I think that's how long you've been around). But, believe it or not, it was not that long ago that BWB lived in fear of the EP zerg.

People play for different things. Some for campaign score, some for AP (lol who cares about AP since Thieves Guild?), some think Emp is the goal, etc. Some players play all three factions, some play one. I've stopped judging people's priorities and goals in-game. I play AD-only: right now, sometimes that means I log off because we have the map and there aren't any good fights. But I've also wrangled pugs for 8 hours to take back our trikeeps when we've been zerged all the way back and gatecamped.

TL;DR, this game is fun. Do what is fun. If it isn't fun, why bother.
