There are pet quests and polymorphs, no mount quests as of yet

One of the public dungeons awards you a dwemer spider pet, unfortunately I cannot remember the place's name. I don't think there's anything besides that.
There is a quest that awards you a skeleton polymorph thingie though and a few others granting you various costumes(last one in Orsinium for example) though so there's that

Check your Pet Collection menu and look at locked pets. It tells you what Quest awards them.

As for Mounts the cheapest one you can get in-game costs 10k gold.

More than one MMORPG has mount quests, ESO is not one of them. Yet.

But mounts in-game (not related to anything from the Crown Store) are outdated. Before the B2P change, you *had* to buy a mount at a stable with gold, and to speed up the feeding for training time sink you had to pay a LOT of gold. Your only other option was to buy the Imperial Edition of the game and get a white horse for 1 gold.

Still having to pay so much for a non-Crown Store mount may drive some players to that cash shop, but letting players quest for a basic no-frills mount that starts with the lowest stats makes sense once they reach level 20 or 25. Also would be nice to have rare seasonal mounts that are difficult to obtain in-game just to add some variety.

Maybe they can work on that when they add variation in attribute caps to mount stats according to mount type (i.e. senche with a higher max speed than guar).

there is a mount can get that need to do with the digging by finding motif to make the mount its a metal wolf...
